I think yes because last time after a august hard fork the price of bitcoin continues to rise and i think bitcoin will hit the price of $7000
who knows we will surprise.

Recently, bitcoin has just risen from 5000 to 6200$ in just two weeks, so that is the proof showing if bitcoin can rise so fast, they may reach 7000 in this year, moreover, bitcoin is predicted to reach more than 8000 in few years, but we can not sure that will happen, time will answer that

According to me bitcoin can move more than $ 7000. It seems that many people are buying it. This is happening because the newcomers are coming to buy bitcoin every day and Bitcoin is making new highs every month. If this continues to happen, then Bitcoin can also move up to $ 10000.

It's just two months to the end of the year and i believe that bitcoin is going to hit the $7000 mark before the year comes to end, It already hit the $6000 mark this weekend so am confident that they will be a breakthrough soon enough. and maybe $10000 in March so start buying and saving.

My estimate is Bitcoin will not hit $7,000, but maybe it will reach the low $7,000s, and definitely will not go to $8,000 - instead, it will crash.

I always said that bitcoin has a high potential i knew that someday that bitcoin would go over 5k dollars and now it is happening. I will not be surprised when it will go over 50k dollars someday.

Because of that I have started to collect all the coins i can get in my life time. I know that someday these coins will be worth a fortune. Thats why I use my chance now in order to get rich in the future. I have the possibility to fail, in order to not let that happen i started with a job to save some money when i need it.

as of now, we are going to see another dip in the price of bitcoin, this is due to the fact that most are doing profit taking, since they already have their bitcoin gold, the price of bitcoin might go down around 5000- 5050 usd, however it may not go down as low as the last dip, since there will be a correction prior to November's fork. we might see that bitcoin will struggle again breaching the 6000 usd mark, since there has been a bull trap, with all the hype given to bitcoin gold. there is no doubt that bitcoin will hit 7000 usd and more however not as of the moment, since we are now done with bticoin gold and it didn't breached 7000 usd, there are a lot factors that contributed to the low value of bitcoin, one of them is china, being out of the game and a lot of profit takers, which is more than expected. I think there will be a gradual increase on the price f bitcoin and we might see bitcoin breaching 7000 usd in the first quarter of 2018.

Why bitcoin wouldn't stop skyrocketting? I assume most of the ppl on this forum invested because they want to see it taking over the $, € etc. A lot of ppl on this planet have the same wish, but are not aware of bitcoin yet. And what will happen when the 50-60 y.o. generation is gonna start investing massively bc bitcoin becomes less and less risky? (maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me that more young ppl invest in crypto than older generation...so far). It's a global phenomenon and yet, maybe only 1-2% of the global population got crypto already. So I'm pretty optimistic.

But obviously, there's always a risk that governments along with banks come up with a law that would make it way less convenient to get bitcoins.

It will hit 7000$ but it will need some more time. Currently it is going up and down around $5.5k but in general it will increase again slowly after some weeks I think.
We cant expect exactly the price as it is volatile.

Definitely right. It is very hard to predict bitcoin's price because of its high volatility in the market. No one really knows what will happen in the future especially when considering the arrays of news everywhere in the world. No one also knows when will a country make a similar move as China's prohibition of ICOs, or another hard fork incoming. But in my opinion, bitcoin has the means of reaching the $7000 considering the recent news of Japan, accepting it as an alternative payment. Maybe in the future we may see its full potential, where almost everybody in the society utilize it as a payment.
