Working Prototype Demonstration and more huge development updates!
Today we held our fortnightly development meeting, with amazing updates from our devs.
We’ve managed to record a prototype demonstration showing mobile voting using multiple devices, blockchain interaction and live poll results updating. This is a big step, the very foundation of our project is working seamlessly. The rest of the development is “the easy part” according to our devs (although many hours are required to get it all done).

As well as the working prototype, we’ve got some big news about our blockchain.
We were considering using Hyperledger Fabric – however, we have discovered a much better solution.
We moved away from Hyperledger due to issues with scaling and support. There’s not enough documentation and general use to ensure that the platform will continue to be supported and can scale to the size we need.
Instead we are using a private blockchain inspired by Ethereum. We took the basics of the ethereum chain and improved speed and reliability. By changing the algorithms behind consensus and mining we are able to use a platform that works when we need it, every time we need it.
Big leaps forward for development, and as a result we are well on track for our launch date in July.
Our ICO is still on, this is your one and only chance to purchase POLL from us. We’ll never run another ICO, and never generate more POLL in the future.
We’ve also updated our POLL/ETH ratio to account for the recent surge in ETH/USD price. You now get 2,500 POLL per ETH during Stage 4, up from 2,200. This increase includes all previous stage 4 contributors.
