As i understand, bitfury made best chip as of today, but it is not for sale still...
Rigth now BFL chips are most efficient and available for preorder.

You're right, but chips available for "purchase" and working are Avalon and no other choice at the moment. For BitFury chips we still need the release and possible hardware requirements.

New quote from PCB manufacturer.
PCB unit price: USD 1.8
Tooling and testing: USD 300

This prices are for the size of this project.
So, that will leave us a discount on the hardware price of  $6900.

Price per chip assembled right now is +/- 6$USD
Price per GH/s right now is +/- 25$USD or 0.3623BTC with Klondike blueprint. Still waiting the sources for the BitBurnerXX to make a quotation.

I might consider 3 BTC's worth.
What is the expected hashrate for 3 BTC's?

Currently I have on order:
10 Shares via KnC group buy worth 28 GH/s I paid 5 BTC's
7 Shares via KnC group buy worth 9.87 Gh/s I paid 2.1 BTC's
3 K16's via TerraHash worth 13.5 Gh/s for $750 or ~7 BTC's

We are expecting +/- $40 per GH/s so at current price it will be 2.70GH/s per 1BTC
5BTC worth 13.5 GH/s with shipping, assembly and hosting administration, cooling and support for the hardware so you don't have to worry about anything. One single order to do everything for a low fee and you're not forced to purchase the whole miner if you don't have the money right now.

Hi
So I could I ask you to recalculate using the new data please?
and provide and ETA for up and running please?
I also may have 3BTC worth too
(one GB i'm in is 5.5ghs per BTC *If the H/W arrives!* - Price per Ghs is probably what we're all interested)
Thank you.

Thanks for the request. I will put a Price per GH/s at current price in the OP.

Also, the process will be, assembly -> testing -> work. Every miner tested will be put to work ASAP and the lead time sounds like 4 months due to components running out of stock and have 4 to 9 weeks of restocking lead time.

Would it be fine if I gave my pledge in installments. 15BTC is a hefty investment. I was thinking about 5/5/5, to see if there is profitable speculation.

well, this is an investment for a full 3TH/s mining rig, you can go with the amount you want, after this one is finished we will be building another one with the next generation available.

as fast as we can have the parts and chips. It will be progressive, 4 months to be fully operational.

Closed.
Lack of interest and Avalon doesn't look like a good investment right now.
