Thank you for sharing this one, even though you did not share your private keys, and youre using private keys to access it, there are still chances that it will be hacked when MEW is hacked,the hacker can recover your private keys there, it is prefer to using metamaks or Hardware Ledger to be less vulnerable in hacking these days.

Thank you for this information you have provided and it is a kind hearted advise. When I find out that some people are adding there private keys to baunty application I told my friend that it is not possible and when we were review some one post we discovered that he posted his private key intead of myetherwallet address! Many are really making this mistakes and scammers are taking this advantage.

this is what we need to make our account in mew safe so we can keep the tokens inside mew is not getting hacked by another people. besides that, we need to have some places to save the private keys and don't tell to other people. I think it is better to send the tokens to the market after the tokens release on the market so we can prepare to sell than we only keep it in the mew account.

Myether is one of the safest altcoin wallet and if you want to maintain that, you cannot discuss any personal information of yours. Especially if your password are connected to your personal life, otherwise you can just regularly change your password. For example monthly or quarterly, to prevent hacking of account.

I think the two most important factors to be safe with MEW are:

- Bookmarking the site

- Use MetaMask/JSON files instead of private keys.

This is also valid for EtherDelta.

Newbie players in this market are a lot lazy than the previous generation of crypto traders, they even put some warning in MEW site but still there are fuds that mew is not safe lol

I agree that is the best way to secured myetherwallet accounts, changing of password. Because if you regularly change your password in wallet its hard for hacker or intruders to guess your password in wallet. Also don't put large amount to the wallet, because if you hanging large amount in the wallet it will catch the eye of the intruders

I agree that is the best way to secured myetherwallet accounts, changing of password. Because if you regularly change your password in wallet its hard for hacker or intruders to guess your password in wallet. changing passwords dont play a major thing in mew because passwords isnt the case or reason on why some users have been hacked. Instead  there will be other reason such as theyve been phished or they visited a clon faked site of mew  and also theyve been hacked because they accidentaly share thier private keys while filling up some forms, etc.. Overall the key to avoid these problems is to be more wise and aware on whatever you do online.

do not import main account to delta

if want to sell token, from main walet  sent to walet delta,

after finished sell direct , WD to Main walet ...

your way is good but it takes more time and a bit complicated plus it also cost more fees , therfor i still prefer the old way and most popular way method for trading in etherdelta. you wont also be hacked in etherdelta even if you import your private keys as long as you visited the correct official website and not the phony or cloned ones. that is why i suggest , much better if you bookmarked the site ( etherdelta and myetherwallet ) to avoid getting hacked and phished.

This is what im doing since from the hacking incident on where i do make use of another new generated wallet on the etherdelta site itself and do send all of my coins into that wallet rather than on using my own main wallet. It would really cost you some fees but it doesnt matter as long your main wallet is on safe state then it should be fine. Be wary than sorry if someone do hacked you because of such disclosure of your keys.
