Why wrong? I remember before the hard fork, the price of Bitcoin has dumped to below $2,000. That is the time to buy and no one know it is the preparation for next fork of Bitcoin. Therefore, it also make you have wrong through about this drop.

yes it is always happen that the price is drop before the hard fork and this time we can be prepare if somehow the price really getting down although we are not sure how much will it drop. at least we know that this thing is happen over and over and we only need to waiting when the time is coming and get prepare. without having preparation, we only gets panic and selling our bitcoin without thinking that the price will be increase again.

i see no negative effect for bitcoin after 25th, it may be drop for a little while but it will recover afterwards, if else goes wrong with a chain split, then that would be the biggest fear i ever imagine.chain split affects coin split and may lead to price instability, but the bitcoin core's dev team won't allow to do that.
If we are still basing on the supply and demand without having concern about the forking issues then bitcoin's price is still continue to rise.

I think it will same like bitcoin cash and the price of bitcoin will drop a bit. I don't know is bitcoin gold can have a good price or not but if we look at the bitcoin cash, i'm not sure bitcoin gold can have a big price like bitcoin. I'm sure once people got their bitcoin gold, some of them will sell it directly.

If you look deeply there was a massive dump just after fork but that didn't last long, price of bitcoin recovered from that dump and actually set new ATH price.

I am expecting drop to below $5k after fork and recovery to over $7000 within end of this year.

In my opinion it is possible to reach the price of bitcoin up to 6200$ by the end of this month but i think before the fork it will decrease by a little and will start to increase again after fork until it reach the 6200$.

i don't really expect any dump as big as $1700 (to go down to $4000) just because of "speculators". there was already that kind of dump and price went down to $5100 and even after the 25th if people cash out when they get their BTG, i still don't expect a big drop.
unless it comes with some kind of FUD to cause a bear market.

At least before the hard fork, the price of Bitcoin usually dump ~10%. As past days, you also see the price of Bitcoin has dumped to below $5,200 from $5,900. Of course, it is recovering and try to breakout $6,000 at the moment after flash crash.

Even now we do already reached $6000 price point which i can really expect that we do really even hit up $6500+ price when those holders did already get their free btg and convert it on bitcoin itself and the thing here is that those holders will surely comeback into alts which we can really expect price would sure corrected on those time when that thing happen. Price of BTG would be lower as expected just take a look on BCH.

But anyway, I believe that Segwit2x Token+Bitcoin+Bitcoin gold, combined, are going to be worth much more then what bitcoin worth now.
Just like it used to happen with the bitcoin cash fork, the fork happened but the 2 tokens were worth much more then what the original bitcoin has been traded for.

Bitcoin is going down apparently after the hardfork homie, that's what most of them are predicting including me. You can't just expect the price to be increasing forever, either it will be stable or it will go down. But the odds are against the former and the latter is most likely to happen.

With no doubt, yes Bitcoin price will definitely see a drop after the Hardfork. Bitcoin has touched new heights and shown an impressive growth as we reached near the day of introduction of Bitcoin Gold or BTG. People and investors have highly invested in Bitcoin which made the price of Bitcoin to rise at a faster speed because everyone wanted free BTG, which will be probably distributed at a rate of 1 BTC = 1 BTG. It seems to me that immediately after the fork, the price of bitcoin will sharply rise. But it will not last long, maybe several hours. And then the price will fall. The most important thing is that it does not fall very much

I am sure bitcoin price will drop during and after fork. Then it will still rise again and it will recover just like what happen on the last fork but we are not so sure on how much it will rise again. Maybe not just like as high as the value today but it is not impossible that bitcoin will still reach what it did now. Hitting over $6000 will possibly happen again after the fork.

After the fork, the price must fall. All users who wanted to get free bitcoin gold will start to sell their bitcoins to buy altcoins which is now strongly fell in price. When prices are equalized, we will see the real price of bitcoin. I think she will be at 5000-5500 dollars. After adaptation to the new prices, we will again see growth.

I think this is the case, though I do expect BTC to continue rising until the day of the fork, I then expect a very sudden fall back down to about 5k.
