Look at the block reward, it's 0.01. With 120 second block generation, assuming you are the only one mining at all times, you will get 7.2 coins in a day. Masternode requires 1500 coins, so it requires 208 days of straight mining where you get all the rewards to create 1 masternode. Dev has 1% premine, which is roughly 67 masternodes, so he is effectively 13,936 days ahead of everyone.

People should really be doing this basic math before deciding to jump in on a coin.
