0x.js Developer SandboxToday we’re introducing 0x.js Developer Sandbox.
At 0x, nothing brings a bigger smile to our faces than hearing about new projects being built on top of the 0x Protocol. We know that the early days of blockchain development can be tricky, so we have been experimenting with using CodeSandbox as a way of providing new developers with a better on-boarding experience.
If you’re attending ETHDenver, then we hope this helps you get hacking right from the start!
Historically, a new developer would need to install a number of dependencies, download various packages, and be sure to specify the correct compatible versions. Our sandbox uses 0x.js, Web3 and communicates with Metamask and the Kovan network — all live in the browser. You can edit the code and see the changes live in the preview. It’s a fantastic tool which will help you get started!
The 0x.js Sandbox makes use of our Testnet Faucet on Kovan, so if you need some ETH to get started and make transactions, click the “Dispense ETH” button.
Have a play around with the embedded editor below, make sure you click on “Edit on Codesandbox”, fork it, start hacking and have some fun. If you run into any issues or find a bug, reach out to us in chat or on Github or grab one of us at ETHDenver.
