I just had the most horrible experience:I had to hear  an audio publicity clip from amazon services that I was not able to shut down.  I closed everything that I had open, but  the audio clip continue  playing until the end.  If I had been by my partner on our bed it would had been an astronomic fight. Was annoying and intrusive and i had to hear it about 4 times in 20 minutes. I did not wanted to turn the volumen off because I was watching a video.   Nothing like this extreme have never happen to me. It started  with a very loud sound.  I have  been for months gathering the will to try Brave... I was push today. This  post is my FIRST action using brave as a browser...and my first post on bitcointalk.  I made brave my  default browser.  Lets see how it goes

I'm using Brave for a few months now both on desktop and mobile so I'm all for that, but you know you can use Chrome extensions to stop ads, right? AdBlock Plus is quite fine.

Brave is a good browser although still a bit buggy comparing to Chrome. The capability to use TOR for private browsing is cool but may not go down very well in enterprise environment. It will be really challenging for Brave to match the popularity of Chrome, but given all the blockchain related capability and special use case, Brave certainly will get very popular among certain audience.

I use both browsers but I can't wait to see see how BRAVE takes to their new tokenized ad revenue structure. I have a pretty good sum of BAT just in case it takes off.

Usually adds dont  bother me much.  I thought i had the add blocker installed.  But   this one was on another level. Intrusive and horrible.  I was exasperated.   It was just the little push that I needed it to try brave.   I do hold BAT as well. Dont remember how many.  Like all my altcoins I just buy them create a paper wallet and forget about them.  And just buy again on the dip if  the coin still looks interesting.     Smiley

Brave is a good browser, but chrome is still my go on PC due to the extensions I use with it. On mobile though, I prefer Brave. It's quick, responsive, and has integration with my password manager app.

Still a long way for it to replace chrome. Implementation of BAT tokens surely would attract interest of crypto enthusiastic. And sharing revenue with its users too would attract more people.

I use Brave because I've seen a slow but steady decline in the Firefox design and in quality... and I'm doing my best to move away from Google's products because of the general culture change I see there.  I really like it and have almost no problems.  The only problem I've had is very occasionally elements on a page will become unresponsive... but I think that's related to Brave's ad-blocking.

I still used both, i gind brave a good substitute sometimes for chrome who consumes large blocks and datas, but since my system kind of always chrome only before, i find it hard to remove it in my system.

Brave is good brower which uses BAT token for removing advertisements, the concept is quite good, but I prefer Chrome because it is very stable.

I never tried Brave, but I switched to Opera months ago and never looked back.  It even has a free built in VPN you can turn on/off.

I have not used brave browser. Chrome security is rock solid and the fact that I can see many crypto plugins make chrome a veritable choice  for me . so far no complain at all with chrome.

I just got to know about brave. Looked for its review.
An open source project by ex-founder of firefox.
In built ad and tracker blocking. It's gonna be huge in the future.
But the first site I loaded it in failed to load properly. Still a lot to look at.

Although Brave is a good browser with in built super ad blocker, i just experienced it same as firefox.
Similar options, settings etc as firefox but it can't compare to chrome's security and goodmess.
Chrome is the most used browser with a lot of new features. What i like in chrome is that it restores cookies also when we synchronise gmail.

I haven't tried brave till now but have heard about them for few months will give it a try later on.

Talking about all the pop up ads or annoying autoplay in chrome, adblock works really well. I am using chrome for more than 2 years without any big issues or trouble.

Chrome is the most popular, advised and economical browser to use, it's the first time i heard the browser named brave i must try and install the brave browser and see if that is good to use, but i prefer to use chrome because of its simplicity and user friendly interface i think that's one of the reasons why it is popular aside from its features but i will consider and install brave as a substitute browser.

In the long run, open source and decentralized tech would win over the enterprise, propitiatory and centralized tech.
The product is still in its beta phase and we could aspect smoother experience on the release.
