...but Why not Bitstamp? It's friendlier and can also be used by human Smiley MtGox is all bot and API now and virtually useless via UI. MtGox also demands a copy of your Driver's License, a Passport, or a National ID Card and as you know, most countries do not allow you to send this information to third party. MtGox also wants your  Utility Bill or a Tax Return for proof of residency.
AML law? Really? It has a lower limits of transfer amounts, before you can wave that crap around Wink

If you are in EU, it's probably a good idea to read up on Data Protection Directive before you start sending your passport copies to some guys in Japan.

While reading what I wrote, use the most friendliest and relaxing voice in your head.

Bitstamp also has a verification process, and it probably won't escape making it required.

Honestly I don't see the point, if you make a bank transfer you're never going to be anonymous.

Anyway, good luck - but if one has a change of getting on a major exchange it's probably Litecoin.

(Can we take this to another thread? Thank you)
You are missing the point. Smiley
Some guy in Japan has everything he needs to sign you up to next "copy of your ID card and utilities bill" bull shit "identification". It's not about anonymity, but protecting YOU from becoming a victim of some idiotic identity deft scam.

I have voted for PPC (and NMC) too, although I think it's possibly a bit early for PPC. PPC is less than a year old, don't forget this.

It is more important to create infrastructure - with ppcointalk the first good step is taken, now we need PPC-accepting shops, a better official website, and possibly the cold-transaction feature for easier stake minting.

BTW, the FTC request is a bad joke. A 2-month-old pure pump-and-dump scheme with blockchain problems, voted by the pump-and-dumpers themselves  Grin

Voted. I think PPC is the most innovative out of all other alt chains besides LTC and NMC.
