hello guys
i have not opened my bitcoin-qt client for some months and now when i try to start it up, it freezes in the loading screen. So i had to delete the downloaded blocks. My wallet is encrypted and I want to import it to multibite so i dont have to wait too long for the blockchain to download again. So the question is: i have the encrypted wallet.dat and the password, how do i import it to multibit?

I have tried importing to https://blockchain.info/wallet/import-wallet but it says wrong error file returned by server or something like that.

Thanks in advance.

You need to extract the private keys of all your addresses from the wallet.dat file and then import them into multi bit. To extract the private keys use pywallet:
