You don't need to and shouldn't share your private keys ever


There seem to be a/some person making self moderated thread one after another using brand new ids.
Their sole intention being getting your private keys in the name of offering airdrops.

Though everyone should be aware what they are doing, We need to make users aware not to fall for such phishing attempt.

Well there's a lot of people who are new to crypto and just don't know the difference between the address and the private key.
I've come across several spreadsheets of airdrops where a simple ETH address is supposed to be filled in.

Instead, a lot and seriously a lot put in their private keys. (Don't go looking for them. All these addresses are empty).
I guess anyone who would fall for this probably hasn't bought any crypto as they'd be more careful before submitting something.

This should be stickied. More and more new users coming into the ecosystem means
more and more scammers trying to take advantage. I get emails every day trying
to get me to follow phishing links for pretend ICOs. It doesn't do any of us any
good for that kind of stuff to be the association people have with crypto.

Always keep private keys private, and don't follow email links, kids.
Bad things can and do happen.
