We are evaluating different consensus mechanism, both proof of stake (POS) as well as proof of work (POW). We are focusing on light nodes solution, so every device will be a node, in order to support the needed resource sharing.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

We haven't announced any numbers regarding SOLARIN. I can tell you it's been sold worldwide, and has consistantly been the top seller in the technology department at Harrods in London.

There are very shady messages like Type-0 / Silent SMS / Stealth SMS / Ping SMS, they are often sent from authorities to track individuals. Also IMEI catcher tools are used by them. Will finney be able to detect those attacks or do I still need third party apps for it?

I'm saying that it's not possible to just "triangulate the location of a phone" like you would see in the movies. So to ask a question like this is impossible to answer, because there's no specificity. If you had a question about a specific type of attack, or a specific type of malware, I would be happy to find the answer for you. But the types of questions you ask above contain far too many variables to be able to accurately address

Huh? The phone doesn't need to be stealthy. Let's leave that to Monero or Dashcoin wallets. I believe the purpose of the Finney phone is to provide end-users with a secure phone that coins in it can't be stolen even if the phone gets lost.

Is the Finney phone planned to have an annual release so the basic phone tech stays up to date with other players?

Sirin OS will not run on existing phones, and we will not be releasing the OS to individuals, only to companies. Sirin will work with the companies to ensure integration into the phones developed by OEMs (original equipment manufacturers). There will not be an iPhone version of FINNEY as it is being built on the Android platform.
Meaning that Sirin OS will work on The Finney and any other blockchain capable phone that uses Sirin as its OS

Out of curiosity, what makes you think a phone cannot be triangulated?

With software and knowledge a phone can be perfectly triangulated, the justice of many countries does in the necessary cases. You can find many examples.

Let's just hope if other manufactures adopt Sirin OS, they too will have a cold wallet, otherwise it will only be on a software level, which is less secure I would imagine.

This I don't agree. Phone manufacturers must find a balance between sharing and imposing proprietary code and open source code. With open source, if the software is good, interested developers can contribute to its improvement and may include add-on services to that code. Closed source can only protect the owners' interests in the short term.

When I get my Finney I'm going to turn it on, add the official Messi App to it, work out the crypto wallet then I'm going to go show everyone I know my great new phone and explain to them it's a crypto phone then show them what that means in regards to crypto storage and I'll show then the added security that the Finney's comes with.

To my knowledge no one has yet tested or has given review of Sirin OS or any device(s). Hopefully sooner or later someone will give us a review of the device/OS.

2$ is still very minimalistic considering the market cap, marketcap for a company like this with working phones on the market and an upwards overall market should be: 5-10b. Overall market is nearing the smartmoney-bottom. Expect shocking movements in the following days/weeks with bitcoin

I'm not sure what you mean by main goal, we partnered with Cardano (ADA), their token will go in our wallet and will be functionally converted to SRN when used within the ecosystem.

Don't think the ride is that crazy, after reading about your solarin.
If you did not have any previous product, I probably would keep a eye on this prosject, but not get in as early as I did
