Hello Zappers! Anyone here wants to know how the Zap meetup at Bitcoin Center's Satoshi Square went yesterday? Ben Young - Creative Director - said that "The meetup was great! Nick gave an excellent speech as always. We had a Q&A, the crowd learned about Zap and Oracles. We’ll have pictures later today or tomorrow (the photographer is going to send the pictures then)" For now, we can share with you these LQ pictures taken from his phone. STAY TUNED because the good ones are coming very soon! In the meanwhile, you can follow updates and ask questions in our Telegram group!

The simplest function of the oracle contract is to act an escrow between provider and subscriber, holding both dots and data and releasing both simultaneously. A speculator is defined as any actor who may have no interest in using, receiving or transferring particular data, but whose interest instead lies in projecting or predicting which oracles (and their related data flows) may become more useful or in demand in the future, and maximizing their current supply of Zap. An oracle is a data feed input in a smart contract. It can be anything from weather data to a decibel meter. The data is used to determine what action a smart contract should execute. Oracles can be: 1. Humans 2. Devices 3. Third-party Data Feeds 4. Officials 5. Consensus. If you want to know more about oracles and its use cases, visit https://zap.org/usecases.html. Hello Zap Nation. Data providers may be asking themselves the question - "How do I get paid for the data feeds I provide?"Subscribers make a payment directly to a data provider using ZAP, ETH, BTC or other tokens which can be exchanged via smart contract. Zap's marketplace will be entirely cryptocurrency based. Don't forget to like Zap on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/officialzapstore/
