I am working on a Bitcoin Addressbook which will help users find each other. Instead of having to send addresses using a long format, you will be able to query the website and search for your friend and get his bitcoin address.

To get content, I am offering 0.02 BTC to everyone who adds their address to the addressbook.

NOTE: To prevent spammers and people who make multiple accounts to abuse the free bonus, your address MUST have at least 0.1 BTC to get the free 0.02 BTC. You do not need to pay me anything, I will just check Blockchain to see your address balance.

c'mon dude, you're gonna know who is legit and who's not. you should change the requirements to several hundred posts or somehting. besides, newbies cant post outside of the newb area without waiting 4 hours anyway so its kinda a moot point to try and "drain your funds"

Hi,

Thank you for your submission. In order to verify that you own the address (the Bitcoin Addressbook needs to be accurate and only contain verified info), you will need to proof the "private key" for the address so we know you own it.

In your Bitcoin client:

click on 'help' in the menu bar (top right)
click on 'debug window'
select the 'console' tab
type: dumpprivkey 1HiGKjaN9PmvzRHQKPWR9N51k7zeQ8256

Reply with the response. This lets us verify that you control the address.

And the good guys win? are you able to restore everyone elses karma around here? And i assume you are the mod? would it be to much to ask you guys to enable the go up/ go down buttons? its in the theme settings in the admin console.... it would make navigating threads much simpler.
