This guy predicts bitcoin to be $20,000 in 2 years. What do you think?

Cryptocurrency is too young to make long-term forecasts on it. Already there are many of this kind of divination.

I think there are so many predictions on price that by pure likelihood someone is going to be right and then he will say: “you see! I said it!” and some people will believe him and will believe he has some supernatural powers.

Some predictions are more well-grounded that others, but they are all based on past facts and when they extrapolate them to the future is when they might fail.

I think there is no certainty in prediction. As in this case, i would like to use words like "it could be" and "it could not be"

Nothing is impossible. But people with a lot of eye balls (popular people) are saying this to get more people into Bitcoin. This is the other part of the game. Some says that it will crash and turn it into ashes to create FUD and buy cheap. So you have both sides here with this kind of statement.

No. 20k$ in two years is way too optimistic. And 15k$ for Ethereum is straight impossible. As there is a saying in those parts ow the world: paper (in this case internet) can withstand anything.

I don't see why not. I'm not sure if we'll see that increase in two years but I think its possible to reach that when bitcoin is a lot more limited.

I think nothing is impossible if bitcoin prices can reach $ 20,000 in 2 years and if many investors support or encourage increased bitcoin, there may be a bitcoin price explosion achieved, but no one can predict an explosion will happen within the next 2 years. When investors stick to their attitude toward bitcoin prices, and if the price can reach $ 20,000 there will be many millionaires in every country from bitcoin

Because it is easier to grow from lower price to i.e boost bitcoin's price from $1000 to $3000 than achieve the same percentage growth with higher numbers.
I can't imagine ATM that we will have BTC worth $30k in next 3 years. I am not saying it is impossible. I am saying it will be much harder to accomplish.
That is a reason I see all kinds of promises and predictions that BTC will reach $100k, before 2020 as pure Sci-Fi at this point.

Honestly I can't say any word right now because someone said some months ago that Bitcoin will reach 5000$ by the end of 2017 and here the stakes are. So I believe everything is possible with Bitcoin and in addition to this Bitcoin also has the market demand and supplies theory which is the main reason of price increase.

Yes i think is is to much , i don't see the marketcap go x4 so fast.
But who knows look where btc came from.

I dont have a strong faith in bitcoin, I think governments and countries are going to realize they cant escape it and create their own coin. Like a USC ( United States coin )

Never underestimate the power of cryptocurrency. Internet today is powerful. Central banks/government banks around the world will adopt blockchain in that year 2020 is halving time for bitcoin and to think it will be the golden era age so i will agree on that prediction

So bitcoin will go up 14.300 and Ether 14.700.
Since we have a difference of near 6x in coin supply it would mean ether will get more than 6 times "investments" than bitcoin is going to.

Seeing monero and iota going over litecoin is a clear sign this trader or whatever he is has smoked some decent pot.

I don't think it is impossible at all, the rate we are going this could easily be the price in two years, even $10,000 by the end of this year is possible and has been predicted by a few people but who knows.

Almost everyone here is happy with these predictions, we just can hope and hold. theoretically, Bitcoin will reach much higher value with the growing demand and less coins being mined, so $20,000 will not be strange or unexpected value after few years.

I think it is too farfetched to say that bitcoin will reach the 20k $ mark for the span of 2 years but we can't set aside that possibility. Due to continuous fluctuation of bitcoins, I think it will be difficult for bitcoin to reach even 10k this year and though if the price increases more than decreases.

As bitcoin price increase i think next 2 years it's best price will can be $8k-10k. So i think you are wrong sir why-not It can not be worth $ 20000 in 2 years. If bitcoin price will be $20000 in 2 years i buy a house.
