hahah hilarious to read people's posts from less than two months ago saying $20k in two years is too hard. If this thread had been $20k in 6 months it would probably be right on target...actually even that would have probably been an underestimate.

Well, we don't know that yet because bitcoin has a full of surprise. Remember the time that we conclude that bitcoin will only have a 3-4k dollars before this yearn end but look at now it is almost 16k dollars. There's a lot of factors that could change the wind flow of the current status od bitcoin, it is tough to foresight. Truly that bitcoin's volatility rate is on fire as we can see today. Therefore, it is possible to gain 20,000 within just a little amount of time.

truth to say, then all your numbers are bold enough and maybe even real. That's only with respect to ethereum I have little doubt that the coin will rise to 15,000 dollars.

Funny enough, this was just said in October and then the OP said 2020 for $20000 was impossible. Only if we could all see the future. Still, we have not even finished 2017 yet and we are already on the average of all exchanges approaching $20000. I am so optimistic that in this year, we will definitely get to $20000.

Indeed we all know that no one knows what will bitcoins true and precise reading to all incoming investors and and all calculations to that. Bitcoin will probably stay in this position until it goes out of reach of people.
Although were just predicting bitcoin to be only an $9000 on many threads in the year end and look at the price for bitcoin it is unstoppable and unpredictable so watch out for some corrections.

In my own judgement, I think there is a big chance that it will happen in 2 years from now or even it may happen in just few months or almost a year from now.
As I can see from the performance of bitcoin, they execute fantastic wherein they provide excellent quality of service to their customer; which gives them a good feedback which can increase the demand that will help to increase the price of bitcoin in the public market.

The performance has been positively huge and then with all that is going on with the release of the LN alpha, the introduction of the CMEs which could ginger some huge adoption even though their own betting or gamble does not have anything much to do with bitcoin.

No doubt at all and anything should be expected at this point. Bitcoin's price does not have anywhere it is going but up and that is one thing to look at.

Considering the rate of increase in value in just these few days alone, it is very possible that we can attain that $20,000 and even cross it. Some exchanges already did, but considering overall, at least there is still a huge possibility.

If you think $20,000 is way overpriced then wait until you see $100,000. There is a lot going on right now and I do not see any reason why the adoption should not increase the more. Coinbase shared how their user base has increased hugely and then looking at the global adoption before the end of this year and this will continue in coming years too. I would not say any value is overpriced as long as there is someone willing to pay for it.

It is very possible to happen if the pumping of bitcoin continue and were almost getting to reach that $20k mark, maybe the first month of 2018 is the time it will reach that kind of price. Looking at the sudden increase of bitcoin these past few months you will see it will have a better future because bitcoin is getting more popular nowadays and more people invest. And I'm not surprised next year more establishments take bitcoin part of their mode of payments, so they better do some developments and add more features to attract more investors.
