Bitconnect wallet won't connect

I would like to start mining Bitconnect coins so I downloaded and installed the Bitconnect wallet from the Bitconnect website and set it up as directed on the site. I tried everything but can not get it to connect to the network.  I tried it on windows and also Linux with the same problem.  I searched on google and can not find a solution to the problem. 

Can someone please help me get this wallet to connect.
