Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

doesn't seem like it.  My sell order has been in queue for around 15 minutes and it's a bit below the highest bid price

i now have a separate entry under open orders which states "not enough funds"
the asking price is still lower than the highest bid yet the coins are not being sold. any idea what's going on with their system?
also can i transfer directly from mt gox to tradehill or do I have to transfer back to my wallet first?

Too expensive... better off elsewhere if you don't have a US bank account.

You need to transfer back to your wallet first.

I'd be interested to know if anyone is cancelling their buy/sell orders ?

i canceled and resubmitted a few times.
Just looked and it finally went through so perhaps their servers simply can't handle the load.

True, an active sell order did not get filled when it clearly should have.
It works some of the time...

Well there are quite a few European users and to us Mt Gox is still the cheapest choice .... it is not as if the other exchanges come with an ani-theft insurance.

So while there was plenty of bitching about Mt Gox, their service is back up and the money of most appears to be there.
Shit can always go wrong but apparently they where able to prevent it hitting the fan Wink
