All the altcoins are low right now, don't put all your eggs in one basket spread your money around 4-5 different coins. Ones i would recommend right now are : NAV, BAT, GBYTE, SALT, OMG, CTR. all of those are undervalued right now and will bring you a good return in 1-2months time. Good luck in your trading.

The best crypto for beginners to start with would be none other than Bitcoin itself, if you know the value of bitcoin then the rest of the altcoins would just be easy for you to trade with. Because when I first started trading, Bitcoin was the very first coin I traded with and learned a lot from it.

I agree. Bitcoin is the safest bet here, the price is increasing and even you're a day trader you can profit here but of course it's better to hold it for a while then sell when it pumps. As a beginner it's risky to trade alts as you don't know the market of it while trading bitcoin is more or less complicated. Just go with alts when you have some experience.

I would say about any coin with big volume and liquidity in exchanges is good for day trading. Any of the coins in the top 20 or even top 50 are tradable. Buy the dips and sell higher. Rinse and repeat.

For a beginner I would recommend sticking with coins in the top-10.  Its a volatile market that one doesn't understand at the beginning.  As a beginner I bought a lot of Siacoin because I thought it was the greatest thing ever and destined for huge increases.  I thought that since I was somewhat experienced in stocks that I would just get it but I didn't.  Siacoin is not doing well.  Luckily I was smart enough not to dump a bunch into it so its no biggie.  The coins that I bought as a newbie that are doing the best are the ones that were in the top-5.  Now that I have been around for a little bit I can now better evaluate coins for what actually works in the cryptoverse.  There are definitely small cap coins that will boom but newbies don't know what to look for in successful coins.

tl;dr - start with the proven coins in the top-10 before experimenting with lower cap coins.

Everybody here will just say the coin they are invested in .

Your best bet is to do research and make sure you understand the tech.
Then you can make your own decisions in the future.

I think the best way to get started is to invest in the coins that you can understand the best. That is, the coins that you can find the most information on. Bitcoin has the biggest following and most data/price history therefore I think it's a logical starting point for everyone before moving into alts.

I suggest you to trade Altcoins in Bittrex, by following the usual free Signal given in Telegram. And the signal they give is accurate. But keep in mind the risk that you have to lose if you lose. Smiley

as a my opinion firstly you need to learn about Trade then you can trade with waves, ether as well as also bitcoin.
Yup doing homework first is the best thing to do because without learning about trading will led toward the loss and a lot of material is available online as well as on youtube from which one can get maximum benefits and when all the things are done see the market critics and after that invest into the most profitable coin in which you can make money faster and that is bitcoin so learn and invest into it.

Now it's BTC. Take a look at the news and at price.
Bitcoin is a common asset that has got pairing with each and every altcoins. So bitcoin can be considered as the primary pick and next to that is altcoins. Here for the learning about trading, it's good to start with low value assets and then after learning to certain extent can move further on different assets.

Vertcoin is the best for begginers..
a big community + 1 click miner + trustworthy team + the idea of decentralization and asic resistant
i think its one of the only coins that still are really "for people" like the first idea of the crypto

I think it's bitcoin, etherium, litecoin, OmiseGo, Qtum. The last time shows a good volatility. With them it is easier to work on levels + on bitfinex it is convenient to trade to pair to dollar and use short.

For beginners I always recommend to start trading bitcoin, because this is the most famous coin, also in the public press and considering the past you can not make much wrong except selling at the wrong time. But as you can see in the history chart, it finally always continued to increase.

The selection for altcoin trading is meanwhile very huge and if you are not familiar with this topic you can easily catch the wrong coins and you can be rest assured that there is a lot of scrap available!
