Since the old threads are just that: old. I have decided we would need a new discussion page for all matters concerning Yacoin.
I am hoping all of us from the Yacoin community can get together and actually promote this coin. I am sure that if more people knew about it, more people would want to mine it. The problem with Yacoin is not that it's a bad coin, it is in fact better than most other altcoins. The problem it faces is lack of support from an active community and development team.

And as far as news/updates/discussions go, a thing worth talking about is the price of today 08 June 2013: Yacoin went from 0.00039 to 0.00012 and now it's back up to 0.0003 and probably going back up to 0.00035-0.00038 - the price it was going for the past few weeks.
A great opportunity I did not miss, and bought some yacoins at 0.0002 and now - Profit!
Who would also be willing to get more involved in the community and help promote the coin more?
