I had a heatsink fall off of one chip on an S7 hash board.  The S7 has three hash boards.  Can I simply power down...remove the board...and power back up again?  Will the controller understand that one board has been (temporarily) removed, and continue to mine using the two remaining boards?

Yeah, it's a bit of a dumb question.  But an S7 is still worth over $400.00 as I write this, and I really don't want to "let the smoke out".

Thanks!

Nobody from the forum ever replied to me.  Nobody posted (here) and nobody sent any PMs.  I was afraid to try it.  So I finally purchased some epoxy and glued the heatsink back on, myself.  It seems to be running OK.
