I want to make an order with Coinabul.com:

Are they legit?  Huh Huh Anyone had any issues? What should I expect?

I live in the United States, and want to pay with BitCoin. I will admit, it is SCARY buying with BitCoin as I can't just call up my credit card company and bitch. Yes, that is right, I want to actually USE my BitCoin for TRADE transactions!

[EDIT] Heard some negative things about them and doesn't seem like there is really any posts about that website in months. This is fucking why BitCoin is a joke currency, it's based on trust. It's like giving someone $500 cash and then him telling you "Wait here! I'll be back in 6 hours with your item" and never returns.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Highly recommend the link in my signature instead. I too have placed many orders with Coinabul in the past. Often the wait was very long and updates/communication quite poor. Numerous people started placing orders at the high of the market and they became quite behind, but I think eventualy everyone got their orders. Has also been a few missing/damaged orders that got some exposure on here, not sure how those worked out. They are in essense just a middle man who take your BTC and then place an order with someone else to send you what you ordered.

Amagi is a brick and mortar store in Denver that started accepting BTC. Much better mix of people/trust and (exept for during the current shortages) inventory.

Seen them operating for quite some time, they should be safe, or you will find the Bitcointalk community yelling Scam at them Smiley .

I can not say if they are 100% legit or not- but I can tell you a bit about my dealings with them:

I ordered a very large amount of silver coins and paid for express next day shipping. It took 23 days to receive my silver coins, and during that time I never received a single email or call from Coinabul regarding the delay. The only contact from them were automated emailed regarding the order- despite me emailing support as well as leaving a voicemail every 7-10 days to see what the delay was about. After several months, I am still attempting to get a refund for the additional cost of express shipping- as it was a service that they clearly failed to provide.

The only positive thing I can say about Coinabul is that the coins were packaged extremely well and they arrived in perfect condition.
