Today Catalan freedom dupporters going to withdraw their money from banks. This will cause a huge amount of Euro going to be withdrawn.
This remembers me Grexit moments. When too many people withdraw money from banks there will be a cash problem in Spanish Banks.
People will start to buy bitcoin suddenly without cashing out from banks via wire transfers.
What you think?

hell no,
it will not happen, because Bitcoin will never replace the FIAT itself.
because we need a physical to do the trade in our real life, and not many people understand how it works.
only them who understand about technology and computer savvy know a little bit about it and how it works.
not yet for now,
at best they will regulated it but not officially replace it,no more than that.

it's a bit complicated,
it might be push the price, but it will not push that much.
or the reason behind this pump was this news ?
there're a lot of news similiar to this one in the past few months before, like venezuela and else.

Right now, I just remember what Jamie Dimon was saying that Bitcoin can be a fraud because it is not supported or backed by any government but look at the fiat money when the government can be in chaos. I am sure that when there would be some political chaos people may turn to Bitcoin as a safe haven as it can now be more accessible then the real gold and its value is definitely rising unlike with gold which had been almost flat for more than 6 years right now.

When there is chaos, uncertainly, apprehensions in any country of interest, Bitcoin can be there to save the day for people who can trust cryptocurrency more than their government. This can be a very important role which Bitcoin can be playing for many years to come. And I love seeing it that way.

these things never cause any significant price rise for bitcoin. people may speculate about them and expect those people in those places are going to start buying bitcoin and that "expectation or speculation" causes some rise but it won't be big.

there has been a couple of somewhat similar stuff. much bigger than this, with a lot of news coverage and they didn't really change much. mostly because people don't know about bitcoin, and those who do know don't run to invest in it all they have, they still go to other things like gold and some small part in bitcoin.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.
