I'm just start into Crypto about 1 month, as people, i'm looking for a good ICO to invest with a dream that it will sucess and bring me some profit. But there is a lot of ICO incoming, some sound very good like HXT, Storm, Cryptaur or Electroneum. I'm really lost in those, i tried to do some research like people such as: their white paper, roadmap, v.v.. but i can't not found what is the best for me to start. Can you guys give me some advice or some trick to do a research.

Thank you.

It's easy to reduce the number of ICOs to look at.

Review only those that actually have software.

It is true, but you should only pick the most promising ICOs. The ones with a good team, good advisors, and a product. You should also look at their idea/vision? What do they want to achieve? If the ico will make sense too you, You can invest!! I participated in many icos, most of them were good Wink

i might be wrong for this, is predict ico-coin future are same like gambling ?
first you should predict what will happen on your ico-coin or game, then you will got the result about your predict correct or no, if you correct you can doubled your coin but if you wrong for that predict you will lose all of your funds, but you still have a rest of funds if we do a trading.

Yes, and couple the decentralisation revolution through blockchain and crypto with the deregulation revolution in government influenced areas such as energy and healthcare, and you can have a boom in a boom.

That is where the real long term value will be - and the markets are so big that an energy focussed token / coin can overtake pretty much everything.

Healthcare is difficult to find the right thing I feel. In energy at least there is Prosume and Grid+

It is true that there are a lot of ICOs out there.
So it is important that you look at the following points:

1. What is the ICO about - are they solving a need?
2. What is the team? Is it qualified to bring the project further? Does it have good advisors?
3. How big is the supply? If they offer a lot of supply and you want to focus on short term profits then better choose an ICO with a low supply.
4. Read the white paper
5. You have a technical background? Great! Then check their github content.
6. Get information from other people: reddit, bitcoin talk and telegram groups as https://t.me/CDiamonds (they have ICO coinbriefs), Upcoming ICO’s - https://t.me/ICOcommunity etc. or check the Twitter channels as https://twitter.com/CryptoDiamonds
You can usually also get in touch with the team and ask questions in the ICO Telegram channels - just check the ICO website and usually it has their channels mentioned.

Important is that you always do your own and a proper research.

Good luck!

I would highly suggest you to stay away from ICO since you are new and you don’t have any experience to separate what’s scam or not. Try to focus on buying alt coins when they are cheap and sell them when they go up basically.

Today,ICO has been found as the easiest way to rise huge investments needed to develop a project. It seems very easy to do rather than trying any traditional methods.Lots of companies are nowadays indulged in launching ICOs.But on the other side,it has become a huge problem since there are lots of scam ICOs nowadays. That's why, china and south korea have almost banned ICOs.

Nowadays, well established financial service companies have also started to launch ICOs.Instead of joining new ICOs,you could join such reputed companies ICOs.In simple words, just check the reputation of the company or the project developers before joining.

I totally agree about checking the reputation of the project and its members, however, I am not sure whether financial services companies have the right background or knowledge or even competence to create a long term "revolution" in the space where they are doing ICOs, I fear it is more driven by the greed of extracting funds and fear of missing out.

Much better to look at something like the energy sector where deregulation will take place and the right team with the right set up and the right connections to the existing energy infrastructure and utilities, can revolutionise the space.

Have a look at Prosume.

make your own research and if you don't understand the project skip to another!

look at total supply, hard cap, reserve fund, how much tokens available in the ico!

look also at devs and how they answers to technical questions and critics!

I agree that you have to be carefull with ICO's. Lots of scams or useless products since most of them are very similar:  wallets or trading platforms. I'm sure you can find some worthy ones but just need to look. And yes, seems like existing product is REALLY important when considering investments. So just keep searching if are you intersted in this  Wink . For ex. I'm looking forward to Geens: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2261446.0 .

Sometimes some people said that the ico just kind to waste our money but in another place there are some people too said that about they made huge money from ico. Those are joining in the big or promising ico such as zero protocol raised decent profit and other gets lost.

I would say be careful on where to invest. Look in the vision of the team of any ICO before putting in a single dime. Lately tokens of most of the ICO's that have completed very recently when traded over exchanges have lost their value!

Many of us feels the same, new icos are coming every day and its hard to recognize icos that have potential to do something more in crypto world. Bounty section is full with new icos, in service section there is couple signature campaigns that are promoting icos and paying in bitcoins for that. Whom to trust more? I'm lost too, I search their sites first, then I check them here and what others have to say about it, I like when community is active that means that something good is happening about something.

.BIG WINNER!.

If you DYOR, there's a low chance of getting screwed over. Kyber, Walton, VeChain...great ICOs. I dump'em as soon as they hit exchanges since you never know what happens down the line...I mean Tezos is a good example of that.
