bitcoin in my opinion will continue to rise and the price will be more than 6000, maybe it's because bitcoin will fork with the release of bitcoin gold, so many people are holding off from selling bitcoin

Agree, there will be a drop once people get their bitcoin bold and the alts they sold will be bought back, I don't think it will be a huge drop though.

This is so crazy. The last two months shall be remembered forever, we went from flash sale $2900 to new ATH $6000 in a month. So sad that I sold it earlier, now I have to rebuy it with some (potential) losses. Guess I'll just hold it tight now, the mega bull is getting crazier.

$6000 is the new ATH. This rise is also memorable because Bitcoin is reaching $100 Billion market cap. Now Bitcoin is also bigger than Goldman Sachs (market cap - $99B vs $95B)

that is the only reason why people hold bitcoin, they want to get the bitcoin gold that can be for free from the second hard fork, and I think it will invite the risk because very high bitcoin volume is circulating in all exchange, I'm afraid if bitcoin will disappear and be replaced with gold bitcoin

Bitcoin reached 6000 $ because people are preparing themselves for next fork where they will receive free bitcoin gold (which is an extra free money for holders) , and I think its price will continue rising (at least for few months later)

For sure, there are many Bitcoin holders and traders right now who is rally amazed at this surge and hoping that it can be able to last maybe into the end of the month but there has been an analysis that it would really try to breach the $6,000 level before making some necessary value corrections. Now, the most important thing for now is that it already got into that level and if ever there would be a retreat then it can be coming back for more or beyond the 6K mark.

I can feel the excitement for Bitcoin right now and this is quite a revenge especially for people who are trying to put down Bitcoin via their press releases (hello Mr. Dimon) but since the market is not anymore listening to rehashed statements and analysis it is time for these people to reconsider their stand on the King of Cryptos.

You meant to say that BTC reached a new height!
It will probably go downwards a bit after the coming fork, for correcting purposes, and then it will keep getting new heights till the other fork happening in November! Unless the 25th fork  have a bad effect on BTC, i don't see it going below after the correction!

Yup I checked peak value in CoinDesk chart touches 6003$ today. Really 283 USD changes in the chart from yesterday to today. I think traders has taken the charge to find the profit now. Good time to sell for the long term investors.
If you seriously look into more profit you have to wait more 2 years to find the profit more. Marching towards 10k would be much now it takes at least more than 5 years to find that value.

This is great! I just wished I witness it live with my own eyes it is phenomenal. I might be overreacting right now but seriously, I thought 6k is reachable by at least end of this month or before the year end. And now we've reached it. Btc just keeps on surprising us. But then there is the coming fork that surely contributed to this new ath. I wonder where will btc be by the end of this year.

In my opinion, many bitcoin traders and big whales will take profit soon and we must take the opportunity as well to accumulate more bitcoins when the price hits the bottom again. The All Time High of $6K is a very good sign that bitcoin is getting healthy and heading towards a brighter future. We can see from the trend of the bitcoin's price that the exponential growth will soon reach towards $10K and it might happen before the end of year 2017.
