I am very happy to see bitcoin has reached over 6000 today, it has been predicted to rise more and more, so i hope this will trend will keep rising in future.

I think there will be a rapid decrease in bitcoin price after the hardfork (bitcoin gold). And maybe it will last until the next one (segwit ~17 November). Before segwit bitcoin will increase again and maybe even more than now.
What do you think about it?

Sounds reasonable. Pretty much what happened during the last fork. I just hope that Bitcoin will become more usable after the forks complete. |

I don't know what to say, I am surely happy that the price is increased and reached 6000$ but then I am not sure if the fork is the real reason for the prices to go this high, and amusing thing is that more number of people are buying than what they are selling. Is my reason behind this valid, do you also think that there is something else going on which has caused the price to go up so high, is another strategy used by some sicko again to influence the price or something else or it's just the prehype for the fork? Am really puzzled at the moment. |

Bitcoin prices may reach $7,000 next week and then Bitcoin will return to the $ 5,000 price because the Bitcoin market is now pumping very well and surely tomorrow everyone will have more good news about the market. I am sure many banks will accept Bitcoin in the near future

Now,its $6107 ATH.Bitcoin seems marching towards $7,000.Main reason which experts point out for this is the upcoming hard fork this month in which people expect air drops to occur so that they could enjoy some free bitcoin gold coins.For this reason,many are just dropping down their alts and just buying bitcoins which has triggered bitcoin's price.
Bitcoin gold may not have that much impact as bitcoin cash had since it has no miner support,no wallet support,no exchange support.But still,it has become the main reason for this price rise.
But we should also take in to notice that very soon,the next month segwit 2x is going to be activated and it may have serious consequences over bitcoin price since it has almost 85% of miners support.At that time,bitcoin price may face a slight decline due to FUD and panic selling.

I think next week it is not possible because already it increased a lot maybe it is possible or may not be possible. I think after coming fork the price may come down, so this is the best time to sell your coins and make a profit. |

Crazy!
I've seen today 5600$, 6008$, 5900$, 6060$, now it is 5975$.
I wonder what is true reason behind this. Bitcoin gold airdrop or something deeper?
I think it's segwit2x that makes this changes as per my knoledgs segwit2x will be be have a starting price of 500usd as estimated so if you only hold 2 bitcoins right now you will get 100usd for free +the bitcoin gold obviously. I am buying bitcoin as much i can today i bought 5 bitcoins tomorrow i will invest more .lets get everything shorted before 25th..  |

Probably BTC's value will drop after the fork, right now a lot of people are buying bitcoins just for the fork. You really should buy some altcoins at the moment because after fork they will grow a lot. About Bitcoin's value, I think it will reach 8000 by the end of 2017. Expect new crazy records in 2018  |

Specially at times like these that people are getting more and more interested not just in Bitcoins but also with all the other alternative coins out there?
