And what do you mean saying that "this upwards trend will continue until S2X" ? That BTC price will not increase after hardfork at all or that it will increase but slowly..?
I think BTC's price will be increasing and increasing significantly in long-term period. But I am not a Nostradamus and maybe i am mistaken.
But we all believe in BTC, especially those people who hold it.

They are rich and can cooperate to control the price of Bitcoin, but you have forgot the Bitcoin function can helps the business evade tax. Bitcoin isn't very difficult to track though (for governments at least). There are already attempts to make this easy to catch tax evaders in the future, so it doesn't seem like governments will try to bring crypto down, rather they will try to gain control of it by making it fully transparent. That could easily backfire and drive the adoption of decentralized exchanges and traceless cryptocurrencies though.

I agree with you, price will go up and up until segwit 2x fork will happen (people want their free money). Probably a (big?) correction will occur after the fork has happened.

Bitcoin is breaking all records, but will keep on rising. Sure governments want to get a share and want to introduce taxes. This is very risky, because bitcoin can drop as easy as it grew. So if you paid taxes and the price drops you lose more than just the value.

Nope, in my opinion, with the current price of Bitcoin, we will see a correction of the price before the hardfork. The whale need to do that before the last week before hardfork begin to buy a lot of Bitcoin and pump it.

Everything is impossible, I can not negate these words after saw the price of Bitcoin reached $7,000 in past days. Honestly, I do not think Bitcoin can reached this target before the hardfork, I think it will stop at $6,000 and decrease after the hardfork completed. Could easily happen. I'd imagine that people would bull run the altcoin market now and then cash out their profits into Bitcoin around the end of the year before cashing out Bitcoins into fiat for christmas or new year's parties.

Could easily happen. I'd imagine that people would bull run the altcoin market now and then cash out their profits into Bitcoin around the end of the year before cashing out Bitcoins into fiat for christmas or new year's parties.

In my opinion, may the price of Bitcoin will dump in begin of next year or sooner. Because the investor need to have money for new year and use that amount to buy some things needed. That's the trending of almost investors and the whale also understand that, they can take advantage this trending to dump the Bitcoin price.
