Hey all, sorry for the lack of of reply, I've been at BlockCon, Santa Monica - Blockchain Conference, Toronto - CoinAgenda, Las Vegas - Ethereal, San Francisco - Devcon3, Cancun in a few days! At the same time we also presented at the Melbourne Blockchain Meetup and are helping to set up a thriving community in the companies home city!

Hello CanYa Community. Turkish ANN thread is ready. Have a look.

 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2312239.0
Thanks so much! The ANN moderation will also be reward with CAN tokens!

it's a very promising project, and maybe I think it's too ambitious, a very big number, but the team might be reliable, but anyway, hopefully it works
Cheers Ardhi, although it might seem ambitious - With a serious team, impressive developers and an already functional app we think we've set ourselves up for success!

Chinese translation completed:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2316858.0

please check it!
Awesome to see a Chinese translation! Any moderation will earn you CAN tokens too!

I've already seen some similar ICO, why are you different?
We have one or two competitors, but at all of the biggest crypto/Ethereum based events I'm yet to see any of them. Plus we already have users - I don't know of any peer to peer marketplaces that have plans to integrate cryptocurrency payments. In saying this I certainly don't know all projects, so if anyone can link a marketplace of services project in the space that already has a working product please share it with me on Telegram!

How many transactions per day are you hosting each month? I mean, having a working product is good and all, but do you actually have people using your platform?
The CanYa App was soft launched first in Darwin (AUS) then major cities across Australia - We've had almost 20% month-on-month user growth since the launch of the CanYa platform. Over 1000 jobs have been processed since our soft launch we're sure that with an international push we'll see fantastic numbers come out of CanYa.

This is what I understand; to ensure that the money of crypto money and / or shoppers is not affected by any price fluctuations while waiting in the Intermediary Institution. So you buy goods from e-bay and you give 1 BTC. Until you will receive the goods, and then you will approve it and the money will be transferred from the pool to the seller, the btc currency may down from 6000 dollar to 3000 dollar. I understand that they are trying to ease this fluctuation and facilitate shopping with crypto.
Great question, so the basics of this is explained above - It's basically though our trusted hedged escrow contact. (Detailed info can be found here: https://blog.canya.com.au/2017/10/01/why-participate-in-the-canya-ico-the-can-coin/ and here: https://canya.io/assets/docs/WhitePaper.pdf) This contract uses a gold backed token (Announcement soon!) to hedge against the risk of crypto!

do you have a spreadsheet about your bounty? how do i know if i have registered in your bounty? i just want to know if i have registered in your bounty or not. good luck and success dev.
Thanks for signing up to the bounty! Our biggest concern is privacy and safety - By making a public spreadsheet available, we open up the provided emails to attack! That's why we've decided to only use our forms. Find all forms to fill out and info here: https://blog.canya.com.au/2017/09/22/canyacoins-community-bounty-program/

Not bad, not bad
Cheers Disloyalrequests! Let us know if you have any questions!

Thanks for all the questions guys! Sorry for the slow replies, should be way better at keeping on top of bitcointalk after Devcon3!

Just out of curiosity one question appeared in my mind seeing you wrote real working product and same time you are planning to go for ICO. If you have a working product which is for $2 trillions then why do you need to collect money ? Why don't you think product will make its place by its own based on functionalities and potential.

hey dev any airdrop or bounty campaign ?
Hey Nguli, we have a bounty campaign here: https://blog.canya.com.au/2017/09/22/canyacoins-community-bounty-program/ there's heaps of different ways to get involved so all early backers of CanYa can get rewarded!

Very good at handling projects that are likely to be successful for teamwork in handling projects that bring benefits.
Thanks so much, we really appreciate the compliment! Let us know if there's anything we can improve on - we're never finished learning!

Good question Hullo! So there's a few different reasons for an ICO:

1. Although we already have a working product our product is currently only fully functional in Australia. Although this is an awesome start we want global adoption! In order to make our app fully functional in every county we need global payment channels - this can be achieved in two ways, the first is to get fiat on/off ramps in every currency, this means banks in every country and a huge wall of paperwork.
The second is to adopt cryptocurrency to make instant global transfers possible with ease. CanYa wants to take both approaches, getting fiat on/off ramps where available as well as having cryptocurrency as a payment method. Doing both of these things - Fiat on/off ramps + Cryptocurrencies takes a heap of time and money.

2. Building a trustless system - Although we already have a working app it's fully centralized, this means users must trust CanYa. This isn't inherently a bad thing, especially because we have no nefarious intentions, however with any centralized system we're making ourselves a target by being centralized.

3. Community building! CanYa is a peer to peer marketplace, the more people we have in our community the further the CanYa message is spread - the more services providers and users on the platform. An ICO allows us to create a large and switched-on cryptocurrency following that will help spread CanYa to every corner of the world!

There are a few more awesome upsides to an ICO but I'm currently sitting at Devcon3 and time has huge value here!

only accept ETH?
Correct!

Tell me, how can I find out whether I've been taken into a bounty company or not? Where can I see the tables with the participants? Where awards will be paid, there is no field with the address Eth in the registration form.

Re-post from telegram news.

*****IMPORTANT UPDATE*******
With the strategic partnerships that we have gained, our post-ICO costs have been significantly reduced; we can simply integrate the existing partner technology/platforms and not develop them ourselves. Because of these savings and ongoing engagement with the CanYa community, we have reconsidered how much ETH we truly need to raise and have decided to halve the public sale ETH amount.

Please read the blog: https://blog.canya.com.au/2017/11/21/10193/

I'm just supporter on CanYa project Wink
