IMG tags show as links?

IMG tags in my posts end up showing as links:


I can see images embedded in other people's posts.

Is there a minimal number of posts needed before images can be embedded?

Newbies cannot post images. You have to be a Jr. Member at the very least to do so. Wait up to 2 weeks and you'll become a Jr. Member given that you've posted properly (14 times in the next activity period and 2 times in the following one).
