Lack of School Choice Hurts Minorities and Underprivileged Children

Dont need to know that information to know that segregation of public and private schools will not end well for society. It basically places people in systems and says hey your good you can be anything and to the people in

public schools you wont amount to much so you stay here. I hate this kind of way and think it needs to be abolished asap!

If the authorities forcibly admit these low IQ students in to the private schools, then it is going go cause a decline in the overall quality of students in these schools. Nothing good will come out of it. The minorities will remain where they are (because of the low IQ) and the non-Hispanic white children will get involved in drugs and fighting as a result of these ghetto residents.

When the republicans talk about “school choice” and poor children they are usually talking about low quality charter schools, which have lower standards for quality in many cases than public schools, but steal much needed funds from public schools when kids are pulled out to attend them. This is the sort of thing the NAACP is against.

With a lot of variance among children, namely sexual, cultural, ethnic, religious, etc. They can't just make it different for all of them. So, they should focus on a universal neutral approach while handling the kids.

I really think that this is true because if you're underprivileged you would always have limited school choice. Usually, it's difficult to have a good education if you're poor or unprivileged. It's a fact, a lot of teenagers can't even go to school because of financial problem.

I don't live in the US so I don't know what's happening but are you telling us that this NAACP is preventing children from going to better schools?

Anyway, I skimmed through the article even though if most of it sounds unfamiliar to me. I didn't know Elon Musk created a private school for his own kids and employees. Probably the only reason is that he think the current system in the US is not good.

IMO the level of education at university level was much higher when there were no private schools. Since they were introduced people are basically buying diplomas. There's no need for them to score high at entry exams, there's a place for everyone as long as you have the money.
It's difficult to pick a side here because children should be allowed to choose the school that they want instead of being forced to attend a public school, but we can't deny that in private schools they usually get better grades.

Is that the case in the US? In my country, most of the more famous universities are private and they do have strict entry exams and even then that don't assure you a slot in there. But then, those are just the universities. For those who can't, there are always those other colleges that don't have entry exams.

It doesn't matter the school a child goes to it depends on the child. I've seen people who actually excels in their field from a far of obscure school who's not known for making great graduates. I also know if a douchebag who actually came from a Catholic school. Again, it doesn't matter the school where a child comes from, so long as that child really wants to learn then they will turn out great

The NAACP guys don't get it. They want all these drug-addicted ghetto rats to enroll in private schools and thereby corrupt the normal students there. That is their only aim. They are not bothered about giving enough opportunities to the "underprivileged" and all that BS.
