And it is still going up. I think by the end of the day, it will peak at $6100-$6200 until the implementation of fork which will put the price around $6500. Really happy to see the prices rally this far today. Although much speculation really points to bitcoin going around $6000-$6500 before the fork. But its good to see that it was now reliance and I'm sure that a lot of investors who didn't dump their during the crash like 3-4 days ago. I think the price could be sustained short term leading to the fork, but after it, its a different story. I guess we need to observed how the market will move. But for sure once the free money is received or claimed, it will be dump so hard. But the questions is, are they going to buy more bitcoins or go back and shift to altcoin to do short, day trading? Remains to be seen.

Yeah! I still remember the words of some predictor here that before this month ends the bitcoin price will be at $5000 but now look at bitcoin now guys it is so amazing bitcoin surprise us more than what we expect bitcoin price is $6000 now and it will become $6200 in the next pattern bitcoin lead it reach more than $5000 now. Increasing the bitcoin to $6,000 is beyond our imagination. That shows that the investment in BTC this year is completely reasonable because according to my guess, by the end of this year Bitcoin will be up to $9000. Also the altcoin coin is also very worthwhile to invest for positive growth.

Everyone is very happy indeed seeing bitcoin touching $6000 again but this time is for real. Unlike before which we briefly touches it then a price correction follow. And the price keeps going up and making a run to $6100. Just months ago bitcoin is going nowhere and there's a lot of thread saying that bitcoin is going to die. But in a month, bitcoin proves all of his distractor wrong, ehem, Mr. Jamie Dimon by breaking the $6000 mark.

seems like $1000 down from our place or even more is understandable because we're moving upward from around $4000.

$6100 at the moment can't believe it is happening until SegWit it can climb to $6500 or even more I'm slowly increasing my stop loss order even though it's not for loss but just to secure good profits after the drop. My plan is if I'm able to make $700 from trading btc/usdt then why simply hold it for bitcoin gold.

Finally  Bitcoin price cross $6000. It's neutral Bitcoin always price increase and it's going to moon. Now we wait for hard fork and watch how much going bitcoin price. If bitcoin maintain their trend  then it will be almost touch $6500 after coming hard fork.

Block segregation always increase bitcoin fees. I am really happen to see the bitcoin 6k USD now but the profit you can expect will damage via fees for the transaction. Last time hard fork bitcoin transaction fees increased huge cost ever in the bitcoin transactions.
Most of the wallet not providing the option to get the Bitcoin Gold as now. Even blockchain.info also added Bitcoin Cash just three days before. But comes to market after 2 months. Will expect online wallet also to have the Bitcoin gold rewards.

Yet again, weekend trading brings a lot of joy to Bitcoin, I honestly can't think of any other market which moves so wildly on Saturday and Sunday. Just over-exuberance from drunk traders? Amateurs who take the weekend off from work to buy and sell Bitcoin? Wages get paid on Friday?

Joking aside, I would say even a $6500 peak today or tomorrow is not unlikely. Bitcoin this year has not broke past ATHs without setting new grounds higher than previous. I'd say at 10% above old ATH where it'll hover for a bit before correcting. Old support still remains at $4800 until 25th fork.
