I am looking at GPU mining and wanted to know with it what is important , like if it has higher memory??? or certain processor ?

like i see many version of the same GPU , but they have different memorys , like 2 GB to 16 GB , so with the more memory would there be a better mining speed ??

thanks in advance

I run a Ryzen 7 1700x with 32 GB memory and just want to look at GPU mining

GPU mining does not require a high-end CPU since all workloads would be transferred to your cards. Most important thing to check is what type of memory these cards use. In ETH mining, 4GB of VRAM or more is important to accomodate the DAG file, as much is the case for other coins which utilizes more than 2GB of the VRAM. Also, memory type is important: Samsung Vrams tend to overclock more stable than their Hynix counterparts. I run my setup with a G4400, 4x 1060s with 6GB VRAM with 2 Samsung memory and 2 Micron ones, an EVGA 1000-watt PSU and a 4GB ram.

Looking at a few cards as im a novice with it would any suit and what would you reccomend

Asus Radeon RX 550 4GB Graphics Card

MSI Radeon RX 560 Aero ITX OC 4GB Graphics Card

GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC Low Profile 4G

Galax Galax GTX1050 Ti OC PCI-E 4GB GDDR5 128bit

I just looking for reccomendations to learn with or any other suggestions would be appreciated will either be XMR or ether mining to learn

I see you need to read A LOT about mining in general. How to be most cost effective efficent.
Its not only graphic card power but energy consuption to cost of buy ratio.

Good luck, its very risky ednever.

I wouldn't recommend using new GPUs since you will reduce its lifespan, that being said, running more than 1 gpu could be profitable.

If you can invest more money I would suggest looking more into asic miners though.

In my farms for mining there are motherboards of 2006-2008 with ddr2 and athlone 4200+, in the GPU mining it is not the main thing man) For profit you can buy second hand old PC (10 years ) with 4+ PCI-e.

You must consider cost-effectiveness on GPu mining because you can run several GPUs parallel.
That's why many people use RX480, RX580 or GTX1060 instead of high-end gpu's like titan or so..
