I store some Bitcoin in an Electrum lite wallet.
Is that wallet or any other lite wallets expected to give Bitcoin gold to users in the upcoming fork?

At the moment, I don't think so. Actually, I believe that only the official wallet forked from Core supports Bitcoin Gold.
I know that Exodus commented that they will support Bitcoin Gold if there is a high demand for it, but they may also add a button to sweep your coins from your wallet to a new address just like they did with Bitcoin Cash. Other than that, I haven't seen too much interest for Bitcoin Gold by any major wallet.
This means that storing your Bitcoins in a wallet that lets you export your private keys is still the best option.

Today I read the official website of Bitcoin Gold. There are listed few exchanges, wallets, etc as part of their ecosystem which is posible to give BTG after the fork if we store Btc there. See here the link http://btcgpu.org

Hitbtc also support hardfork for free BTC gold. If you have 1 1BTC you will earn 1 BTC gold. I sell my eth to buy btc and want to get BTC gold. Ready to rumble after the fork.

How about Poloniex exchange or Livecoin exchange. Some of yours know about their option about the Bitcoin Gold fork? Thanks.

why do you want to use lite wallets? electrum is fine if you have that, you will receive both coins anyway, but there are some exchangers that have already said that they were going to give bitcoingold to bitcoin holders, and that is not difficult to understand, you will receive that coin in the wallet that you are holding your bitcoins anyway, because the same happened before with the last fork. So dont be afraid of that, you will have your free coins sooner or later.

Yes, you are right @dead_m92. For me is not about to be afraid or think to not receive. But I want to be sure about receiving Bitcoin gold as soon if it posible. If you know, Coinbase until yet they dont return the Bitcoin cash their eligible clients. I think better way to have all control is the lite wallets.

Idk, I will just store my bitcoins in exchangers like bitfinex, hitbtc, and probably coinbase? In there they will support the fork and I will receieve free money. Well it is dependent on your management though.

i think saving our bitcoin in bittrex and other exchanges is save as long as we obey their rule and we can give protection for our account. and because bittrex, yobit and hitbtc is supporting bitcoin gold then I think if we save in there, we can get free bitcoin gold and I think many people is starting to move their bitcoin to that exchanges because they want to get free bitcoin gold. but if you are only want to save your bitcoin and don't care about the free coins, then you can still using electrum because I am sure that electrum the one of many wallet that can give protection for bitcoin user.

there are very few wallets which are supporting the bitcoin gold fork, it does not say much for bitcoin gold, it is not supported as it seems the developers are not up to speed or are ready themselves for their own fork

Exactly, just choose any wallet that you can control your private keys and be patient.

As i know, yobit will surely support bitcoin gold as soon as fork finishes. Before two days, Yobit sent me an email update on upcoming fork that they are prepared to let their users hold and exchange bitcoin gold. I think this time yobit will be prior to deal with forked currency.

Don't worry! After fork, you btg is always there. If one wallet don't give you your btg, you still can obtain your btg from another wallet with the same address and privaty key.

Coinomi is one wallet to bank on at this time as they have equally made a release for the support of BTG in addition to being listed on the official website of BTG. But the concern here is the timing of when its going to be activated on the app. While the BTC fork is expected to happen on the 25th which is few days from now, Coinomi is announcing that it wont happen until November 1st 2017 which is like over a week after the initial launch.
