OMG, the bitcoin value is above six thousand, The amount of this Virtual Currency, which passed the record more than $5647 before this week, it has turned into $6080 to fill the difference by yesterday’s seven days less.
Bitcoin’s cost has increased from last year, by using its record-breaking rally which appeared after its recent split into two separate Cryptocurrencies. And I think It will cross over 10 thousand by the end of 2018.

Yes. The possibility is very high because of the massive demand of people for bitcoin. I did not expect it to reach this high and finally break to $6000 not until the after the November hard fork. In fact, just months ago I did not even expect this kind of price increase. I am still sometimes amazed whenever I take a look at the price chart of Bitcoin for the year 2017. Almost no one has expected this kind of trend or increase. It may be possible for it to hit 10K by 2018 as OP has suggested. At this rate, I think that anything is possible for the price increase of bitcoin.

Has just climbed 5 - 6 k in 8 days, 4-5k in 61 days. 3-4k in 62 days... anything is possible.

But few African countries are really seeing bitcoin as alternative to their cash just like the news posted above. We may not see the effect today. But overtime we gonna see bitcoin acceptance in that continent. I firmly believed that they are the next part of the globe that will see benefits as some form of money, following Asia and North America. And the momentum has run started because the price has exponentially increase every year. We are at around 500% increased already. And the price is continuing and its really hard to see where its gonna end specially the fork is just around the corner. I'm very bullish that it can go and moved around $6500-$7000 prior to the fork this 25th. |

As it already crossed $6k, and if things went normal, for sure we are gonna see it above $6.5k or $7k by the end of this year, and if that happens, $10k wont be a far target i guess.

Bitcoin as a currency is limitless. It is beyond what the book of economics and investments really made of. The trust on bitcoin from investors is more huge than the risked they’ve facing on daily basis.
At 6000$ that is more telling that can even think of what stock markets has made of. The reality that this cryptocurrency been painted from “fraud” to “bubble” but never back down. Bitcoin will always stay and I will be part of it. For now and until it worth a 10000$ this coming years.

Yeah mate. Its so funny that our predictions are way off, I'm predicting the we can got $6000 tops at the end of the year. But look at the price now, its way above $6000. Bitcoin again has proven most of us wrong, but in a very positive way. I'm considering the $1000 is within the realm of reality now. If that happens then what a good run we have this year. From less than ~$1000 starting this early January to $10000 at the end of the year. I will never really doubt bitcoin, every though their is a bumps that comes along, it very resilient and will surprises us all. Let's see what will the the final price before this year closes. I hope that $10000 can really be touch. |

The potential of bitcoin at present seems to be really going high. So reaching 10 grand at the end of the next year seems to be very promising but i think bitcoin won't take too long to reach 10 grand i think by mid of the next year it could reach 10k if it continues to rise like it is increasing now. |

I think it will not reach $ 10.000 in this year !
Recently bitcoin is on pumping trending and it will start decrease after 25 Oct and will start increase on December.
All thing we can do right now is holding as long as possible for maximize the profit

I have met many talks on the forum that 10k$ is bitcoin's target for the next year and with such temps of growth I believe in that.

As demand for bitcoin is constantly growing, its value will continue to grow. Based on this, it is theoretically possible that its rate next year will grow to $ 10,000. However, one should not forget about the considerable volatility of the crypto currency and its response to various bad news. As it will be in practice, you can not say for sure.

Everything is possible with bitcoin it can pump and reach $10000 even before the year end and may also drop and reach $3000 again we cannot tell and no can anticipate because that's the nature of bitcoin it fluctuates from time to time the good thing here is that even the value keeps on an up and down position majority of bitcoin cycle is to appreciation meaning if ever it drops today surely it will still go up in the future.
