Hey all

Recently I had to do a fresh install of windows - i backed up my wallets to the cloud.

However I have just downloaded the wallet and let it fully sync and then I imported my back up .dat file but I now have cancelled transactions?

Basically my full balance from mining and all of those transactions have been cancelled ;((

Can anyone please take the time to explain wtf is going and any advice is much appreciated.

Regards
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I have this issue as well. Wallet backed up and imported fine. Balance shows but now only as cancelled. For reference, I was switching from storying the blocks on my HD to a remote node. How did you resolve this?

I too would like to know how to resolve this. I backed up my wallet and did a fresh install of windows. Now all my transactions show, but as "Cancelled". Please someone help if possible.

Nevermind. It worked itself out once the blockchain was reloaded and I put my backup data file in. Thanks "MIDVOC" for the quick message and info!!

When all block data is synchronized, your bitcoin balance should be displayed.
