If you are thinking of short term trade or day trade, then ya I would say its risky as of now. But invest for a long time, you would surely see some up trend after the fork only. If the altcoins you are having are common coins, then I would say just hold tight.
To trade with altcoin is to many options to use. It's risky but not definitely. Surely invest for the best. Altcoin trading are not bad for me to say this,. It's help a lot,. And if it is work, is to get more on higher. |

when the Bitcoin price keeps going up what are you doing now? hold it or be traded with altcoin. I'm stuck in a very difficult situation now. I suffered losses in some altcoins that I bought for a high price. some rumors say that prices will be rebound back next month. However, I'm confused better to hold altcoin and sell it after the price recovers or sell all altcoin to get BCG? someone please give me some advice  In actual it is a usual thing in bitcoin field , you can choose the history when the price of the bitcoin get high , and that results into down in the price of the bitcoin . And also here the condition is same , here it happened because sometimes the demand get up more than what the sellers have in Thier Wallet and that needed to be complete by selling Thier altcoins and get btc to complete the demand , so it is a type of the reason to complete the demand . Here I my self stopped my self to sell any altcoins , Because I know that it happens always with the increase of the amount of the btc and it happened only for those time interval until the price of the bitcoin get stable . So just hold your altcoins and Don't sell . |

It is not bad actually.
It just accumulates the support and anyone is not sure to buy more now.
I see it as a positive trend to jump.
I would buy more Altcoins but I am not sure to loose forking dor Altcoins now

Prices for altcoins and bitcoins will always rebound in the future which is the basis of trading and investing into these crypto currencies. You should take the advantage of it rather than getting scared about it. You might have heard this many times that, patience and holding is the best way to go through difficult situation in the trades and obviously long term investment. So go on and hold it for long time so that you can both recover your investment and gain the profits too.

i think we can waiting for more to see the altcoin price is going to go up but some of the altcoin is trying to reach their position back after btc price is down. i am curious about after the fork, how much the altcoin will increase and how long the altcoin can go back to increase. there is too much question in my head about the altcoin and i still waiting the time is come. but if we are still hold altcoin then i think we can expecting the altcoin is increase so it will a good time for us to sell the coins. |

Yeah, having the same feeling with so many promising ICO's yielding nothing after hitting the exchange. Falling flat below ICO price because of some crazy bonus schemes entertained by them for Accredited Investors and some very early participants. Still in the Dumping phase.

In trading, you win some you lose some. The price is always unpredictable and it is bound to frequently go up and down.
There are some coins which are suitable for long term. With the upcoming forks, its hard to tell what would happen with the price. Learn from your losses and just continue to hold the coins you have left. Its price is bound to recover in the future. Instead of buying some BCG - I still think that a better investment is bitcoin. This is ideal for long term.

BTG was just a misery that came out like BCH and people fell in because they were in the crowd that was intended purely into making some extra money putting their Bitcoins at "stake". BTG could have added some extra cash to your portfolio and nothing but altcoins are traded by geniuses, and holding them for months and/or years is not a game of hit and run, you need the damn patience to stop and wait till it shows the play.

The main key here is that you need to be patient. As you can see, right after the hard fork, everything is very green. Most of the coin, no, I mean every coin is rising their price at the moment and it is exactly what the investors and whales want. They just want to collect free bitcoin gold in order to buy more altcoin with the value of bitcoin gold

Actually BTG will be just another altcoin. I do not see the need to sacrifice all your altcoins to acquire BTG, since in the medium term all other altcoins will tend to recover after the hard fall recently faced, while bitcoin Gold is called to suffer the same drop that Bitcoin Cash experienced gradually. So I would recommend holding your coins.

At least if you still have these coins in your wallet. Losses are made only when you sell your coins, especially during the panic and dumping stage. Prices come and go, wait a week and they will be twice as much as they are now, wait another week and they may be 10 times lower. It is chaotic, but rather predictable market. You need to follow the news and keep an eye on bitcoin situation, especially now with forks coming. Any new regulation regarding ICOs or cryptocurrencies in general may also influence market. If you do your research, you will know when to expect it low and how much to wait to see it high again. Use your brain and don't panic when price drops. |

I think there are some altcoins who price may be passing through worst condition but i think we cannot put all the altcoin in same categories, because still there are so many altcoin which are still trading in a good position, they have a very good volume and in future we can expect that these coins will get more values because still they have good potential to increase more and more. In fact i have already invested a good amount of money in altcoin and still holding my investment hopping that it will really give me a good profit. |
