First, try not to panic.

Second, Have you tried to verify your bank account? What bank account are you using (we don't need details), have you successfully withdrawn to this account from Coinbase in the past? What instructions is Coinbase giving you on how to verify your bank account?

Third, have you tried contacting Coinbase yet to explain that there is still an issue? How long ago (give us date time in GMT)? What did they say if they responded (quote the email)?

Worst case, you send this coin to another exchange wallet and then withdraw out of that other exchange.

Give us more details, we can try to help.

Send them an email. they're pretty backed up at the moment. Had $500 stuck in coinbase for weeks because they couldn't verify my business. Email them, but keep in mind it takes a while for them to process.

In most cases, this is how one should proceed:

1) Write to Coinbase support. Post the reply here.
2) Someone will be sure willing to look at your case and help you out.
3) If Coinbase is replying with some bullshit, make a thread on Reddit and shame them in public to pressure them against a community of 350,000+ people.

You said you use it to make your purchases. You mean you have bought bitcoin in Coinbase before? Have you ever withdraw before?

Log in to your coinbase account, click Settings-->Payment methods.   If you bank account is verified, you will see "Verified"  written beside your bank details.  Just check if its verified or not.

How do you know that they're backed up? Do you work for Coinbase?

Your $500 transaction is a withdrawal? From what crytpocurrency?

Oh, and since your issue is verification related, what are they waiting on from you?

So, it was not actually verified before??  If your sepa transfer is successful and you used the correct reference info given by them then it will be verified after your money reaches to coinbase within next few days

Not to worry too much on withdrawals. Do check properly if everything is in place and give it some time if it is pending. The funds won't disappear unless you transfer to a wrong address

Coinbase is not letting me withdrawing funds from my EUR Wallet in COINBASE. It's telling me ''Before withdrawing funds, please verify your bank account.''  They asked for getting a small amount on their bank account which I did twice. Then, they sent the money back to my bank account, which is a clear proof that everything is working fine with the bank accounts. However, I still cannot withdraw my funds to my bank account.
Always the same message remains.

They do not provide any assistance. They only thing they do is to send me the generic message below

Thank you for submitting your request. Due to increased volume it may take several days to receive a response.

Check out the following support articles to get your issue resolved more quickly.

Account access and verification:

Phone, Google Authenticator, or Authy issues
Tips to complete photo ID verification
I want to change my country or state
    Raise my account limits

Buying and selling:

Verifying a credit or debit card
How do I withdraw money to my bank account?
How long does a buy take?

Digital currencies:

    Pending digital currency transactions
    Where is my wallet address?

Thanks in advance for your patience and support.

Did anyone had the same bad experience? How did they succeed getting their money back? I do encourage people of testing withdrawing money before putting too much money in coinbase.
I am looking for advices to get my money back. It's very to put is money on coinbase, but it does not seem possible to get it back.
Thanks for help and advice.

Browse through the internet, you'll see plenty of people having to deal with similar annoyances. In most cases the problem gets solved after a while, but that could even take a few weeks. Best thing to do is to regularly (e.g twice a week) send them an email to ask for a status update. You could even decide to call them, or reach out to them via Twitter, but they have set everything up in such a way, that they will always force you to send them an email. It's pretty annoying, but there is not much that you can do right now other than sending them like two mails per week asking them what's up. Tell them that you need that money urgently, perhaps that this will give them more incentive to help you.

I sent many emails to Coinbase, they simply do not answer. I tried to phone to them. I get only an answering machine. They are simply stealing money. They take the money in very easily but don't give it back. Is it possible to go through a lawyer? Thanks for suggestions.

Hi.. Im having an exact same problem. Gone through the verify process twice just to make sure all is correct. Been trying to withdraw funds for over 3 weeks now. Been sending 2/3 emails a week & only had one official response which was as followed.

Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out about this and I apologize for the trouble. At this time we have escalated your case to a specialist.

If you have not already, you will need to go to https://www.coinbase.com/payment_methods to add your SEPA info. If the info matches your recent deposit, we may be able to find this.

For the future, please be sure to have all of these steps completed before sending your deposit to avoid any delays:
1) Verify ID
2) Add SEPA to Payment Methods
3) Ensure sender account name matches Coinbase account name
4) Ensure currency being sent is in Euros
5) Ensure Euro Wallet reference code is included in sending deposit

For more info or question please visit our support website: https://support.coinbase.com to find the best answer real quick.

Thank you for using Coinbase.

Best,
Girlie, Coinbase Support

This just seems like another blag from Coinbase. They are not regulated so i think the moneys gone. Complete joke of an organisation.

Hi,

I'm exactly the same.  Can't withdraw.  I transferred a small amount via SEPA which is showing in my Euro wallet with the correct reference number.

Emailed Coinbase, got a reply which didn't really relate to my problem, replied to the email and got the standard, we will escalate it email as per the message above ......... a few days later, nothing.  I've done this 3 times now.

Luckily i've only stuck a small amount on coinbase to ensure I can get it all set up and working, which is looking unlikely

I've not tried buying bitcoin etc then transferring them to another exchange yet, i've read opening and transferring to Revoult is a way round it.

Thanks
