Hi all, just wondering if there is a general preference on where to hold your ripple? Most user friendly? Most secure?

Thank you in advance,

You should download ripple's own wallet, but I think it is a wallet with kyc requirements so you may required to give your personal informations, I don't know whether ledger support ripple.

It's not for everyone, but Ripple was added to exodus's Eden wallet.  Exodus is a nice multi-currency wallet, and Eden is the perpetual beta version of Exodus ... and judging from their slack channel, Ripple is still a bit buggy in Eden wallet.  Once they get the bugs worked out, they'll probably move it to Exodus.

Never heard a SECURE wallet for Ripple. How about storing it on exchange site? If I were you, I will deposit that XRP in Poloniex and put it on Poloniex's Lending.. Your Ripple will get profit thru lending commission no matter what price XRP will have.

Ripple is the name of a digital currency similar to Bitcoin, as well as the name of a global payment system linked to various currencies in the world. The currency unit out of Ripple technology, known as XRP. This technology makes it easy for entrepreneurs, companies and the world to send, receive, sell or buy various currencies without worrying about expensive transaction costs or long delay times

For holding ripple in most secure way you can try with Ripple wallet itself if you dont mind sharing your personal identification data with other websites. Otherwise i will recommend you to try the ledger nano s hardware wallet. Which is allowing you to  store multiple crypto currency  as compared to other hardware wallets like trezor. Ledger nano price are lesser than Trezor, just check the google prices before you buy it from Ledger site or from any other person. In any case if you are not interested in buying ledger nano s, then would you like to use exchanges then i personally recommend CHANGELLY for that.

Many thanks for the information. I really did not know that Ripple had its own wallet. How about tether - do they have a wallet yet?

I am a bit confused as to why Ripple requires a wallet fee before storing your coins. I recommend the ledger nano s, a simple to use hard wallet. It also supports zcash, stratis, dash, ethereum classic, bitcoin and eth. Why does ripple have the third highest market cap  btw?

i don't know what is secure wallet for ripple because so far i only use wallet from bittrex, poloniex and some other exchanges to store my coins. i think its safe for me because i don't have any problem at all, maybe you can try the wallet in their website to store but personally i am not using their site. i think if you use the wallet from the exchanges, it will be easier to you when you want to sell it when the price is increase.

Ripple closed the official wallet and direct all users to gatehub. Gatehub is an exchange and requires your identity for verification. I will suggest Ledger Nano S if you don’t feel comfortable using Gatehub.
