I'll probably be selling when it reaches around ~$120.

I'll probably be selling when it reaches around ~$120.

At least that is more realistic than people saying $10k or $1M

You didn't offer the option of >$80 so I didn't vote.

I would never consider selling for less than triple digits.

My current sell bids are 10BTC each at $150 and $180, placed after I bought at $97 in early May after selling for $165 at the peak of the Dead Cat Bounce.

The bulk of my bitcoins are in cold storage waiting for the price to reach quadruple digits.

I'm waiting to see what happens in a few months when all those startups we read about following the big conference in California start buying bitcoins to build reserves.

Panic is panic and selling low is foolish. This isn't some company that's facing bankruptcy. It's the most powerful peer-to-peer network in history.

Yup, its crashing. People finally waking up to the long term reality. So when you cashing out?

LOL

I realize I'm new around here while you've been around longer, and I should show respect, but this needs to be said.

Obvious troll is obvious.

You forgot the option: 10000$ :-P

Sorry, was only using realistic values that BTC will be in the future.

the values you stated seem realistic to you - thats an opinion.

10,000 seems realistic to some - thats their opinion.

both are realistic.

Based on previous values, and the direction of the current value, only values I posted are realistic values. The 10k is not even close to being realistic. Its like asking how fast will you drive to work tomorrow and then being upset that I didn't put 1000 MPH as an option.

In that case your poll has too many options. By your logic there shoud be only two: "i'm an idiot & waited too long" & "I've cashed out already." Cheesy

now that makes more sense than this poll Wink

You need to add the option "When I need the Money" because that's usually the case.

This poll is basically asking "How dumb are you?"

Pretty dumb.
Shoes are a challenge for me.
I was voted "most likely to be dumb" in high school.
Git 'er dumb!

I will buy all the way down.
BTC is too useful and relevant to fail, as long as sha256 cannot be broken, or serial random private keys computed so fast collisions with existing coins in the block chain can be made.
Too the mooooon!

I'd probably just hold it until it was worthless. Only a couple thousand dollars in bitcoins and only a miniscule part of of my investments. Hopeful and optimistic that it will rise but I only earn what I mine now. A good complimentary question would be at what price would you sell? I don't have a good idea myself.

I sold everything on 6/1 or earlier. I had bids at 100 and 90 but pulled them in a panic. So I am 100% fiat right now, hoping I don't regret it.  Smiley

WHOOAAA!!! 100% ?

That show ZERO CONFIDENCE (in the short term)... you gotta love this Bitcoin-thing enough to keep atleast a little on hand for when it goes to $300,000!!!

Be careful!

I am only playing with 10%, and even that makes my heart skip beats every now and then!  Oh especially since I have ONLY LOST on short-term speculation, but it is a FUN RIDE just the same!!!

my 90% keeps me GRINNING!!! Grin
