"The Story of Your Enslavement"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbp6umQT58A

I find this video to be cynical, but factual. The parts about slavery and control of human labor through fear are excellent.

"To see the farm is to leave it."
So, as a person living in us country, must I abandon the country to be free of a farm?  Which countries are free of human farming?

Do you see it?

No. To SEE the farm is to leave it. Think harder.

I like this one...a collaboration between stefbot and ThinkTwiceNews. I was trying to get them to make a movie to collect the bitcoin bounty on offer. Smiley

Perhaps more than "seeing" is required in order to "leave it?"  Once you "see" it I presume certain actions (or lack thereof) must be pursued in order to a be considered a kind of "leaving?"

Perhaps provide some specific common use examples as to what you would consider a "farm" or part of a "farm" and what a expected or useful response would be after "seeing" or recognizing it.

'Seeing the farm' is the realization that you are a slave. It should cause a change in your perception. (I'm not going to define "farm", the metaphor is obvious.)

This new perception should invoke the standard feelings: disbelief, fear, anger, acceptance.

The end result is to say "NO" to tyranny. That's how you are free. Learn to say "NO". It has nothing to do with moving to another part of the world.

I won't leave my lands, for they are my birthright.

In what ways do you suggest or can be considered to say "no" to tyrrany?

There are too many to list here.

It largely depends on factors such as where you live, your situation, and the resources that you have at hand.

Edit: Saying "no" to tyranny isn't always verbal. It could be intentional non-compliance, direct action, etc.

Well, for example, there is a "simple living" movement in the US, where people restructure their lives so that they are free of federal income tax:

"Resist Federal Income Taxes Legally"

Very well said.
There's a time that we would not be controlled by our fears anymore.

Perhaps none of them, but you will start to learn more about how the world works.

People do not realize how much fear controls them.  What they also do not realize is that the big business out there knows this and they feed on this.  Look at some of the advertising out there.  They make statements like, "Three Days Only" and such.  This forces a fear into you that if you do not act now, you will not be able to get the deal you are looking for.  Because of this fear, we spend money we do not need to and the big business knows this.  What other form of fear control is out there?
