I remember reading about this Russian national crpytocurrency called "cryptoruble" few days ago. So apparently this is legit news because there is even a quote from President Putin, I wasn't sure when I first read about it.
What do you guys think, is Cryptoruble going to be a crpytocurrency with its own blockchain or is it going to be a token, for example ERC20 token?

What is even more interesting is that Russians are developing new mining equipment which ia going to be more energy efficient than anything currently existing. I will check out this company RMC.

Hmm... Not sure if it will work. They seem to be trying to exploit the technology to meet their narrow ends. The message coming out from Russia seems to be that we are against Bitcoin and other decentralized currencies, but we want to create our own crypto-rouble. That is the not the message you want to send out if you are pro-innovation.

Russia has Napoleon's plans towards bitcoin and crypto currencies indeed! Meanwhile the information from Russia is too conflicting, that I don't know what is going to be in the end.
If the creation of cryptorubl is going to be true it is not going to be hard to realize that project by creating a new toke. But there is a question: is it going to be popular and worth something?

In Russia is always a lot of ideas but never these ideas are not pursued to completion. To produce equipment to mine coins you need to have production chips. In Russian there is no such technology and never will. If they try to create criptural it would be worthless and will not have prices. Russia is not a country that can dominate the crypto market.

I think more and more countries should start accepting the cypto currency so that a newer opportunities in the world started to exists and new business could be build around it. this will help for their citizens and as well the economy of their country.
