Both are and crptocurrency as a whole is extremely volatile.
As a noob you are likely to lose the shirt off you back and have your skin flayed.
It can be a fast path to quick riches but given that 85% of traders don't make this trading thing work. There is an extremely high probability that you will fail and fail fast.
Good luck

Coinbase is fine, but the limit if you just want to use your credit/debit card is so low..... to just sign up and buy...

Localbitcoins--->  Just forget it, Best case scenario, you have to go make a cash deposit into someones bank account and upload a deposit slip with a paragraph written on it, all for about 7% markup.....

-  Then withdrawal those coins for another fee,

I seriously suggest Coinmama....  You signup, get verified in like 30 minutes if its during business hours, and you can buy with your debit or credit card like up to $10,000/month, and the fee is just 5%.....  (which is high, and I wouldn't recommend if you literally were buying $10,000....  but for a small amount, fuck LBC or Pax, Coinbase is good, prob the best, (its just the limits in the beginning is a small issue)...

So I say Coinmama....

I am buying and selling bitcoin via Localbitcoin.com and this is the best way for buy bitcoin because all worldwide peoples can use this platform also they get sellers rating and feedback so their is no problem in deal also we can compare different sellers price. we need to do National bank transfer and then deal completed, first we need to verify on localbitcoin, via driving licence or ID.
