Hi All I have twelve S9's and this is the 3rd one to have a 'card' die !!! They are in a server room, temps low, fans fine. Live in UK and got totally confused on how to return to China or even whether it's worth it !! RANT OVER...lol  |

Are these s9's out of warranty? What batch are they? I can tell you that many of my later s9'2 will shut down a card, yet run nonstop. It sounds like a heat issue to me. Can you adjust the speed? Or have you already? Pretty simple if you know what your looking for. If the miner runs and a card shuts down, check the fan speeds and see what card is causing the problem. Give me more info bro, I can help you with this. Been there done that.  Scrap' |

You only have 2 boards even showing up. Looks like the controller isn't even plugged in. Even with a bad board, it should still show up with all xxxxxxxxxxxx . Check the controller plug on the missing board.

Because I'd much rather send it to the country next to mine than have it go to China for 2 months.
Bitmain Warranty is NOT run by Bitmain. They will fix your miners but charge you for the time/repairs/hardware. |

It was showing 3 boards mate, rebooting via logging in done nothing and still showed 3 boards, it ONLY went to 2 boards when i physically unplugged it ? I have checked the ribbon cables between controller and board and is fine. Also my other faulty miners only show 2 boards, they are the new type self adjusting fan speedd/frequency as well...So it is the norm for me. I have also swapped pcie-e connections from good board and even new psu's. NOT worth sending back as they are 11.5Th models and run at 9.6Th !!! Just hate losing hash power when i have access to free leccy ! Cheers Mate |

How long is bitmainwarranty taking for turn around these days? I communicated with them about a bad board and they were very responsive, like 3 replies within 24 hours. As soon as I sent them the board they stopped responding entirely. They have had possession of my board for 10 days according to UPS and they have ignored 3 different messages from me about the progress or even to confirm they got it. In the past they fixed my S7 board and had it back in the mail to me faster than this...  |

Yes I have boards that do not even show up on the miner status screen. For example it will say Chain 6, Chain 7 but no Chain 8 |

Yes I have boards that do not even show up on the miner status screen. For example it will say Chain 6, Chain 7 but no Chain 8 Wow. I have never seen this. I started buying from them in the s3 era too. Even swapping the ribbons you still never see the card at all? I understand you may swap and only see 2 again, but are you sure its the same 2 cards? If so, I have to say that's a dead ass board and a problem that luckily I have never seen. Scrap' |

Are u using bitmain PSU or a different PSU? You only have 2 boards even showing up. Looks like the controller isn't even plugged in.
