I will sell my altcoin when the price starts to soar because if it is still low then the result will be little.

I participate only at projects which are interested for me. So mostly I HODL them until they will be pumped significantly. Sometimes when I'm not sure enough I dump reward at etherdelta ASAP.

I didn't get any tokens from any bounties so far all were scammed my time. Presently I am looking to get unify and sell them asap once they get good price.

Holding tokens can really make profit, if the developers are true, but I recmmend to sell them asap.

For me tokens from bounty are for long term use as long as possible (minimum term for me is 6 months).
Good luck to all

You sell once the token is released because the price will still be fairly high but if you fail to sell then you have to wait after the bounty hunters are through dumping then the price will pick up again and then you can sell for fairly profits.

it depends on how the coin fluctuanting. if its fluctuating so bad i'll force sell it. if its good and have a good prospect, i would hold it. so its depends on how do you think the coin is. is it under value or the value is too much and not going to develop somehow.

I think the best time to sell the altcoins gained from bounties is when the coin has a positive news and for sure that coin will pump up and that will be the best time to sell your altcoins, although there are some who would want to keep a couple of coins and the rest would sell them right away.

I sell the altcoins that i got from bounty programs to the exchanges where it is listed or if i will choose to get the profit or income that i earn in bounty program. I just sell it to the another person in this forum where i posted a topic or thread and sell it with a lower price than the ICO price so i can sell it as fast as i can and get the income in almost instant after the deal.

We have seen coins prices crash extremely fast when the enter an exchange. I have seen in telegram, that people are shouting why would some people sell fast?

Is this happening from bounty hunters? Are you doing it? Have you sold tokens, once the entered exchange platforms?

I will update the 1st post as the results come in!

Results:
Mallingo98:       Sells ASAP
tha2er99:          HODL
tora:                 HODL (end of year evaluation if to sell)
cryptochr:         HODL (if active n quality project) or otherwise SELL
beginnersluck:   HODL (few weeks or months)
rayk:                HODL (one year - but depends from project)
djaliel:              Sells   (when listed on popular exchanges)
mR.k0fka:         HODL (bounty coins, one can be a lucky one)
Paulcrypt:         Hold&Sell (hold growing coins, sell the rest)
SM23031997:    HODL (one year)
coleman268:     Sell
disam:              HODL  (saved in ledger nano s)
mysacrifice:      Sell (with a plan, escalating depending on price)
tegalrejo:          Sell (when price is higher)
SamboNZ:        Hodl&Sell (hodl half, sell half)
Todoroki:          HODL (few months)
sinduarianto:     Sell (when price drops)
sirstu:               SellorHODL (After pump)
Minor Miner:      HODL (cause only enters robust projects)
endlasuresh:     HODL
rearwheels:       HODL (six months)
anitaraymonds:  SELL
indrakusumaindra: Depends
Cixboy61:          Sell
tanghere02:      SELL
Rufsilf:              SELL

The above has now been updated on first post. We see a variety of opinions. Many people show trust in the tokens are are willing to wait out. Especially from old members, that have more experience and patience to wait for a return.

This topic is very useful. All of us need to stay calm when the price is falling down. Some projects worth keeping their tokens for long, while others are better to sell as quick as possible. Of course, it's up to you whether to sell or not, but some tokens seem to be unsuccessful firstly, gain popularity and those who still have them make a huge profit.

If u check the prices of ico coins release the past month or so on coinmarketcap.com u will realise a constant trend which is about 90% of these coins where selling lower than the ico price at one point. My plan with bounty coins is to sell when the price is about a particular % above the ico price and wait to buy back if and when it falls below the ico price

it really can be a side effect of bounty programs. I mean no one care about the coin that was given to him free and now has a value. so they dump it without hesitation

there no right and wrong here.
Coins with potential would be best to keep for long term. Others you may just sell them.

That's right, and that is pretty easy. I myself would do the same thing if I got money from ICO. In short way it might be like this: I'll keep those currencies until prices go up a few percent until I make a profit. But if it is in urgent condition, maybe I will sell it immediately. If I have a lot of money from different currencies, maybe I will sell everything and focus on one. It's so much easier and more simple to set up.

it depends on what coin you gain. if you joined bounty campaign of a coin , at least you can guess the project will be good or bad.if you think it will be a good coin why dont you hold ?

I participate in many airdrops and I sell the tokens only on pumps. That is I set the price high and wait for the pump. As for the bounty programs I only participate in bounty for the project I am going to buy the tokens myself. In addition, for those I buy I wait for a good price to sell (in other words pump).

Soon after the coins getting listed to the exchanges can get an overview about the possibility for price pumping. Based on the same used to hold or else sell instantly. Till date very few of the assets looked to be highly potential among lots of ico that get into the trading list regularly.
