Question: Please choose the coin-swap mechanic you prefer. For further details regarding the logic please read the most recent update (30th October). The option that receives the most votes by Saturday the 4th November, will be the one applied to the swap.
* You get ONE coin on the new blockchain for every FOUR Signatum V1 coins you swap to the new blockchain. All Signatum V1 coins received during the swap, will be burned.
* You get ONE coin on the new blockchain for every TWENTY Signatum V1 coins you swap to the new blockchain. You will then get to keep your Signatum V1 coins in the process too and are free to trade them afterwards. Hence no coins will be burned.

It's on the new website Signatum 2.0

Quote
Signatum swap: Current blockchain keys are not retrievable. The swap is necessary in order to give the new foundation team full access and control, ensuring the long-term survival and success of Signatum. The swap will include a complete overhaul of the blockchain code, which is currently highly out of date. This will include features such as; re-introduction of PoW, Masternodes, Bloom and Segwit.

The full details on the coin swap process will be communicated by November the 29th.
Projected Delivery: December 2017.

Why don't these devs come clean with their identities and competencies? Why hide behind pseudonyms

Hey, that just means 19000 of your coins are being staked.

Soon they will be done and you will hopefully get a reward for it.

They have explained this. Giving their identities could jeapordize the jobs for them. Also there have been threats before. Alot of sick people in the world, and with families to care for they have decided to stay anonymous. I would have done the same if i i were part of the team.

FAQ

As relevant questions are raised, we seek to clarify these in this post. Please ensure that you have taken the time to read the full statement on the new official website https://signatum.org/ - if after reading this you have questions or concerns, please raise these here or on Discord and we will ensure that they are answered and addressed effectively.

How will the premine be handled?

To be clear, the premine will not be paid out on day zero of the new blockchain.  The payments will be made on a monthly/quarterly basis (salary/bonuses of sorts).  All addresses of the core team will be made visible and the funds will be controlled by Cryptovore and Squbs within the core team. We are keen on making this a transparent process.  We are doing our uppermost to ensure that this is treated in a professional manner, aligning developers incentives with that of investors and keen to alleviate many aspects of principal-agent asymmetries.  We are dedicated to making this work for all of us.

Is the coin-swap mandatory?

Swapping your coins on to the new blockchain currently in development is not mandatory. This is an offer that we decided in unison, in the new foundation team, was ultimately the best way forward, to help protect investors’ personal savings and investments.  We could have just as easily launched a new coin and not have bothered with the swap - and Signatum’s history - allowing the current chain to simply die a slow death, resulting in zero value of people's existing holdings.  If for some reason after reading this you do not feel that this is the right direction for you, then you are of course more than welcome to put your faith in characters such as Skankhunter and Doctor and keep your current coins on the existing blockchain.  Survival of the current blockchain is at the mercy of Skankhunter and The Doctor, who have been missing-in-action for a while and and clearly untrustworthy.

What do you do with the coins that are unclaimed after the swap-period has ended?

Once the swap-period has ended, the remaining unclaimed coins of the total swap supply of 34,375,000 will be dedicated fully towards air-drops and the treasury fund. Of the unclaimed swap supply, 60% will be dedicated towards air drops and remaining 40% towards the treasury fund (to help with the operational and business development costs - as running a successful long-term digital currency, is an expensive enterprise).
How about the swap ratio? Are there official decisions about the swap ratio from Original Signatum to Signatum 2.0? Thank you, dev.

If we make a swap. I think we should do a full re-brand and change the name. Focus the markting and comm on Masternodes and privacy. No point in keeping Sigt 2.0 as a name.

Any thoughts?

Hello.
Signatum was my first coin i started to mine. It's a shame to see it crash this bad.
But i have faith in it  Cool

The only thing bugging me is the wallet. Cant get it to sync. Is it the problem with the blockchain?
Event tried to reinstall, add nodes again but nothing. Any idea, or should i wait for the transfer to
the v2?
Thank you in advance  Smiley

Backup your wallet.dat. Delete the Signatum folder in %appdata% and it will synch again.

Hi devs.

Long time sigt supporter/investor here.

I was reading some FUD on another thread about the SIGT SkunkHash Raptor algorithm having really nothing behind it from a code point of view.  I believe it was implied that there are merely a bunch of includes from other projects without any original code.  I was hoping someone from the new team can dispel that statement, please, and point out where in the SIGT source the original code for the algorithm exists.

Thanks a bunch.
