I remember last Fork right when the fork happened, tons of money got poured back into alts for a couple days.

Where do you think more money will be put into Fiat, alts, or BTC after the fork???

1.Altcoins!
2.Same as number 1

Altcoins will be all the trend or hype or an attractive investment that people will soon seek after the fork occurs. So basically bitcoin will be stable and fluctuating around 5400-5800. Alts will regain it's price and people who sold their altcoins in fear will now regret.

The money will be flowing into altcoin market, you know this is the correct choice because altcoins are depleted after the bitcoin bull run. Money will flow back.

Now it looks like the money will go nowhere... They just stuck at BTC until the next hardfork at the middle of next month. But maybe not everyone knows about BTG release and still hold their BTC.

As expected - money has flowed back into alts with btc dropping.
Operated like clock work, I monitored coinmarketcap for an hour after the fork and it couldn't of been more timely.

I wonder if we will we a larger scale version of this after the 2x fork?

I wonder the same thing. It could well happen, as 2x is much more of a big deal than bitcoin gold is/was. 2x could end up being like it was this summer with the first part of segwit.

I think Altcoin is good and can provide an opportunity for us with the increasingly tight competition from Bitcoin. But if I was told to sell Bitcoin because of hardfork, I do not think I would.

Some people instead use fork to buy Bitcoin, because at that time the price of Bitcoin is down. I myself will keep collecting Bitcoin and keep Bitcoin to my wallet as much as possible. Despite hardfork, I still will not sell my Bitcoin. I learned from my experience that Bitcoin prices will always go up every year. So we have to stay patient, not just for a few months, but for years.

i think money will go to the big whales and us because we are selling our bitcoin to exchange into cash and some of this bitcoin will use to buy altcoin. i think after the BTC fork, there will be any good progress for altcoin so for people which waiting altcoin is rising then i think soon the altcoin will increase back. if we are see what is happen in the exchanges today, almost all altcoin price is starting to increase and some of them is trying to go back to the last time high price so i think we should prepare to see the chance for selling our altcoin.

It is just a cycle, it will pour again in alts, others will choose fiat to pay their bills and rents and others will stay on bitcoin for long term investment. Juat make sure your investment is in the right trend to avoid loses.

If you ask me I think that more money will be put into fiat and alts after the bitcoin fork. Investors and traders will take some of their profit after the fork convert it to fiat and some will be put into alts . After the dump of bitcoin  it will reverse   the money in alts will be out back to bitcoin.   then price of bitcoin will go higher than before.

This has been discussed so many times, the last that has been happened was bitcoin cash where at the start its pumped up quickly after a weeks then after 2 months  it dumped continuously, and now BTG  I think was worst than BCH in my opinion only. So, the bitcoin holder must not panic actually, just stay calm and relax. Keep your Bitcoin in your safest wallet like electrum or multibit hd.
