Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I'm asking this since I'm not 100% sure what you're looking for, are you looking for individuals to sell you btc in bulk to use on your website where you exchange Brazilian reals for btc?

If so given your international bank connections (HSBC, Santander, etc) you should be able to make payments via international wire payments as well.

'i want to import bitcoin- whole sale'

the title is even stupid, its list saying, ' i want to import dollars, wholesale'

Bitcoin isnn't goods its a currency, therefore you dont import bitcoins and you don't offer whole sale

Because here in Brazil, to send money to another country, we need to pay 17% taxes!!!!

Then how are you going to pay for the bitcoins you want someone to send you?

I suggest setup an ASICminer satellite mine in Brazil.
Pay for Space, Electricity Internet and Security with BRL, and in return sell Space, Electricity Internet and Security for the ASICminer satellite mining operation in XBT .

Net result export local consumed services import XBT.  (Obviously ASICminer's produce is virtual and is not part of the business.)

Good call.  You could even make it a generic mining hardware hosting service.

I don't understand why you guys are jumping all over this guy for wanting to start up his own local bitcoin exchange. Bitcoin is supposed to be free for anyone to use. Besides have you guys not heard of sites like bitcoin-otc or localbitcoins?

IMHO, the best way to obtain BTC is to export something: or you export brazil currency (and pay 17% tax), or you export some goods and get paid in BTC, or you export some service and get paid in BTC.

IIRC there are a lot of brazilian expatriates that remit € or $ to Brazil. If they start to buy BTCs, they can send BTCs to their family and their family could sell them to you.
You obtain BTCs and they obtain the local currency. All are happy and the BTC user base grow.

There are few realistic ways for you to buy Bitcoins: wire transfer your money to an exchange (like Mt.Gox) -or- transfer cash via Western Union and get Bitcoins. (you can do this via #bitcoin-otc channel).

Under any case you will have to pay in major currency (Yen, U.S. dollar, Euro or British Pound).

Try to find someone who plans to go to your country on vacation or for business. Ask them to bring some bitcoins, have some local fiat ready when you meet them.
