At the present condition, no one can guess the price of bitcoin gold. Lets wait and watch whats going to happen and in which exchange its going to be listed etc. Regarding bitcoin gold mining, yes we can easily mine it using gpu card. When the bitcoin gold fork happens, it will create a new bitcoin network ideally suited to gpu mining in an inexpensive way. Heard that it is asic resistant.

I think 100000sat will be a fair valuation, I don't think the price will hit that of Bcash if I want to be realistic, I don't think it should have any value but people will always bet on something like this

Those are all fake predictions about bitcoin gold. Before bitcoin cash, people were also estimating that bitcoin cash will have no market in future. What will actually happen with bitcoin gold, nobody knows exactly but according to my experience, this new currency derives a part of gold by name , so there are much probabilities that it will beat BCH price. Let's see how precise my speculations be.

No, it is too early to predict but seems like it is going to be a cheap coin because alot of people not interested at all, and most of the people is going to dump the coin after they got and there are no clear information about bitcoingold, I am pessimistic it is going to be a big coin

I think the price would be same as the initial price of bitcoin cash. That is the closest price that anyone is expecting, or the price might become more high since the demand for btg is quite high because of the hype is so high compared to bitcoin cash.

Wait for few more days and you'll see the price. I think it'll go same route as BCC.

I hope so because I have stock bitcoin in bittrex and I'm hoping to see my bitcoingold after the scheduled release. Hopefully I will have it this week so I can sell it right away, I just considered it as free money, because nothing can compete with the original which is bitcoin.

All Bitcoin holders are pessimistic, we all love some free coins, they are buying it from us and that's the whole point, Bitcoin gold must have buyers. if you have a big company with hundreds of millions in cash, you could fork the next Bitcoin X. every body loves Bitcoin gold. I'm pessimistic about people investing on it for future unknown reasons.

There's a futures market on Bitstar and it was trading at 0.04-0.05 BTC per coin yesterday. But it was on very low volume -- I don't think many people use this exchange -- so I wouldn't take it too seriously. Also, there is no publicly available code, and no confirmation of replay protection, so it is difficult to accurately assess the potential value at this point. Without those things confirmed, we can't expect exchange support, and if exchanges do not support it, it will be dead on arrival. I think it's basically a scam, so if we can sell out BTG it will be to greater fools. Sell what you can early on. I wouldn't expect Bitcoin Gold to succeed for fundamental reasons, though it's possible it could pump someday due to hype.

I think it might follow BCH's price and it might go for various price ranges, from 0.2 to 0.05 in the beginning before settling for much less than BCH.

I believe that bitcoin gold will be just like bitcoin cash. It will start from around 0.05, grow to 0.1-0.15 and dump again to 0.02-0.05. But only time will show.

Best guess is it will be a little less than Bitcoin Cash but will surpass it as time goes on. Also I think Bitcoin cash will lose some value soon after gold hits market.

Yes this pattern will probably be followed, but this still is not good reason for dumping of other good altcoins, which at least have a future in comparing with Gold one. Best guess is it will be a little less than Bitcoin Cash but will surpass it as time goes on. Also I think Bitcoin cash will lose some value soon after gold hits market.
Contrary we would see BCH pump again because it has very good lobbying team and supporters are pretty aggressive, maybe it is good time for investing in BCH

Well obviously, i think that nobody could answer to the main OP question, but i predict one thing, people will sell his Bitcoin Gold faster than never xD just looking on how they are managing it it's like a joke, with all those premine and things that need to be fixed yet on his code... Wait for few more days and you'll see the price. I think it'll go same route as BCC.
Or maybe will be to late to sell it for a decent price then...

Price of bitcoin gold when it is released is probably sitting at hundred dollars considering BCC started somewhere around that price. People wouldn't be mining it unless developer fix some on his codes. It might be the other way around if bitcoin gold have proved it's profitability in the future. If the later will happen. Miners might start to mine it 1-3 months after the fork and as time pass people will stop mining it like how bcc miners decrease day by day.

That would be awesome, but I don't think it'll happen for a couple reasons. For one thing, Bitcoin Gold doesn't have nearly the backing/support that Bitcoin Cash did. The latter was supported by major exchanges, Bitmain, Bitpay, Roger Ver, Craig Wright, CoinGeek, etc. But there's nobody supporting Bitcoin Gold except a few altcoin exchanges. Bittrex crediting BTG was big news, but their announcement almost reads like a scam warning against the project. The other thing is just a general rule about markets: things never happen the same way twice.

Bitcoin Cash was really recent, and this looks like an attempt to copy the success. Whether you like the coin or not, Bitcoin Cash has a decent market cap, and seemingly came out of nowhere. I don't know the devs of Bitcoin Gold personally but the timing is suspicious. Do we need another clone already?
Anything can happen but I suspect it will fizzle, followed by a BTC price drop and altcoins increasing as a result of money going back from speculators looking for free money. It seems the major alt coins are down ~15% or so in the last two weeks.
I suggest not stressing about it too much. If you can make some $$ one way or the other then why not take advantage? On the other hand the coin is unproven. There are better, more mature coins for anyone looking at long term value.
