What's going on with chain number two?

Also how important is it to have back up pools? What is the best pool for dash mining?

Thanks

geez, some people are even lazier than me.
Go to the giant D3-thread, your question is being asked every 10 pages.
To be precise: it contains an answer to your hashboard-issue AND to what pools to use. The internet is a wonderful place Smiley
ProCrashing is not really the best choice, you find it all in the giant thread.

cheers

If restarting the machine doesn't fix it, try hard reset (the little button near the ethernet port that you have to push with a pin). If that doesn't work either, backup your current firmware and flash a newer version, 1.0.0.7. If you still haven't fixed it by now it means you gotta power it off, take out the hashboard and have it sent to China. Or have someone fix it for you, but I dunno about that.
