However I don't know if that message is real and I also don't know if the coin is right or not.

I got the same email from the eDoge dev (the shitty one).

eDoge (the shitty one) is unlocked now, and you can dump that crap at https://etherdelta.com/#EDOGE-ETH

We are all still patiently awaiting the NEW and GOOD eDoge!

I opened the contract of the one traded on Ethdelta and the contract number is different there: 0x8d12a197cb00d4747a1fe03395095ce2a5cc6819

Also, the value on etherdelta differs from the one on the coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/etherdoge/, substantially!

Somehow myetherwallet sent my eDogecoin back to the contract address when i entered my other address just after setting it up as a custom token since it wasn't on the list of tokens my default. Would it be possible to refund some of them to my address?

Edogecoin is weird, as its erc223 so the token is where you sent it but t won't show i etherscan. You need to manually add it to the wallet to show up.

You have a point, even Piggycoin was moving last week, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a lot of old forgotten coins coming back to live.
